    My preferred winners in order - GWS (for Jesse), Lions, Carlton, Pies. I don't like the expansion clubs but GWS look the business.

    Even though it sucks for us, I reckon this finals series is good for the game. Two elimination finalists playing prelims and at least one a huge chance of winning one. Itā€™s not inconceivable that both GWS and Carlton make the GF.

    It also will give teams who are going absolutely horribly at the Bye cause for optimism for a long time.Ā

    Bedford asked to leave because he did not believe he could break into the team. The club offered him a three year contract.

    There's a lot of criticism about Goodwin but I don't think anyone here is crazy enough to think he should be sacked.

    Hinkley definitely shouldn't have lasted as soon as he has.
