Melksham, Petty and now Brayshaw out. A step too far.

And the MRO will be looking closely at JVR's careless (or stupid?) elbow.

Unless we can disrupt them defensively by moving more quickly on transition and from half back, this ain’t happening. Hopefully Tracc can lift, and the Pies tire. They should, cos they’ve been fading in the last month, but our inside 50 game at the mo is simply awful. Making it so so easy to defend. Ugly stuff, but there’s time.

What the hell is with the media trying to get Maynard off. He elected to jump and caused a player to go off concussed. How can it be any clearer.

I'll burn something  down if he gets less than three weeks.

Sparrow two touches.

Trac 7.

Tmac 2.

I hate to say it but even Viney hasn't  been good.

Lots of them want the easy footy, just stare at the contest. Why can't they follow Vineys exemplary body of work?

Feel like we really dominated that quarter without gaining on the score board, looked a lot more Melbourne like.
One thing about this team is we can go harder for longer.

Starting to win a few more contests but our method going inside 50 is deplorable. Only Bowey and rivers showing any poise. Would have loved to sneak a goal in the back end of that half but Collingwood backline too solid.

Starting to grow into the 2nd half of the 2nd quarter. Have to be more precise going forward take our opportunities.

Gawn starting to lift aswell as Kozzie need more action from Fritta, Trac, Clarrie cmon lads we need more from you guys.

JVR and Tmac time to stand up and take a couple of grabs.

Get busy Dees.

Get a fugging move on.

1 week for certain, sadly. Textbook careless, late and high. Welcome back Brodie Grundy. Maynard should go too, because he could’ve avoided turning. They’ll give him benefit of the doubt tho.

Richo is a deadset gronk

Hate his voice

He was a sook as a player. I’m happy he got no success at the tigers.

Now he’s a cretinous, biased dropkick with the mic.

TMac to back pocket, JSmith the GHF, smalls front and centre with paired run-throughs provided. Bit more from Viney, Tracca and Clarrie - not much teamwork between them. Rivers into centre, Sparrow takes on Sidebottom. NO BOMBS. JVR has got to lead to space. Gawn doing well.

We have 8 more inside 50’s and bomb it for no result.

No one leads out to get separation.

Totally dysfunctional forward line atm.

Now they are saying JVR can be called to the tribunal. Is that believable?

He moved his elbow towards the chin of the pies player. Not a good look.

Is trac playing ??

Spent a bit of time on the bench that quarter  but yea he's been exceptionally  quiet.

I'm really disappointed after Gus was stretchered off we didn't respond .

Tmac worries me so much.

I know our entries are poor but he could be out bowling people over.

I feel he just makes up the numbers when he plays these days.

Please prove me wrong Tom.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
