The MCG has seen multiple games that have been "fully ticketed" with the whole ground sold out and the crowds for those games have been 74k

FTB, which game was the 74K? That's really low for a fully ticketed event.

RD24 Essendon V Collingwood. Obviously the Essendon reserved seat areas were not full and the game ended up as a dead rubber but the concept of Fully ticketed events do not work.

The two best crowds of the season imo was Anzac Eve and KB eve getting 83.9K and 83.5K respectively. They were that large because there were massive GA turnouts for both games.

I'm a life fan but live overseas now, so the only way that makes sense to support the club is through merch and a 3 game membership. Not ideal but words can't express how good it feels to be heading back to watch this game!

Safe travels and hope we win over the 3 weeks!!

Without a doubt every time I try to get finals tickets it only works on a mobile. Never on PC

And for me the opposite. I do it on my laptop at work. Wonder if the standard of wifi at my work has something to do with it, large organisation. I had my data mobile going too and had nadda response

Go figure!

Ultimately your numbers are completely incorrect.

MCC is 23K, AFL is about 17K for finals with Medallion club getting 4k (within the AFL reserve). The afl loses Q28 for finals.

That leaves 56K left for the rest of the ground.

The reason the ground doesn't get to 100K is because additional standing room areas become available for the GF, Corporate boxes won't be completely full like they are for a GF, Medallion Club won't be completely full and there will be no shows.

The MCG has seen multiple games that have been "fully ticketed" with the whole ground sold out and the crowds for those games have been 74k, 76K, 78k, 80k, 83.5k and 95K. It is so hard to get to capacity.

Interesting FTB. Where are the standing bays they only open for the GF?

I had the mobile on 5G and the PC on Wi-Fi and got in first on mobile, but timed out trying to sort our 3x tickets. Fortunately straight after that the PC let me in and I managed to get 3 tickets in pretty much the same spot I always go, so I consider that an absolute win.

No luck for me, can't even buy a single ticket in standing or restricted view.

I feel I may have stuffed it. When it stated there wasn't enough tickets in Cat 5, I changed category down to Cat 6 and applied for the same amount of tickets. However I think it didn't remove the tickets from Cat 5. It timed out before I realised.

Getting 3 tickets was hard. MCC just complete failure. MFC couldn’t get 3 together when requiring one visitor. Wound up in general admission level 4 nose bleeds. Better than nothing!

You’ll be able to see Kozzie snag the sealer from there!

I see and hear a lot of members from both sides bemoaning the lack of access for members with Priority seats. The issue is around how hard it is to get through, not the access once they are in.

I do find it frustrating that they can’t allocate members different time slots. Especially when the club was selling access this week, and undermining the value of memberships most of us have paid for and used for the last 7 months.

Would it kill Ticketek to give priority seating access its own hour?

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya?
