You’re either a ‘don’t flirt with form’ or a ‘todays match means sfa’ type of person, judging by this thread.

I wonder where the players sit on all of this considering what is at stake.

If there's a middle ground I'm going go try my best to be that.

The dislike for Hunter on this site is really embarrassing and cringe. He's been consistently good this year and will possibly finish in the top 5 in our best and fairest.

And by the way, he is a way better player than Jordon.

Just making our thoughts plain. Sorry for differing from your opinion.

How do you rate his tackle pressure and disposal?

Win lose or draw this is the perfect tune up before finals, unlike what the pies got

I prefer shake and bailey set shots than smith and rivers

Once again a late call by the ump means we play on and take the “advantage” which turns out to be the opposite of to advantage. FFS I hate that rule

How about the players stop trying to play on when they are in a bad position.

Strange choice.

Was hoping it was Tmac.

He covers our talls.

Melky!

Langdon been good, Hunter has been alright don't know what some of you have been watching.

A bit dumbly but Swans pressure has been good and the sun would be playing a bit of havoc, especially with the yellow ball - why would they use yellow when the sun probably won't go down til after the games finished anyway 🤦‍♂️

We've tackled well today.

ANB's tackling is elite. If Hunter could tackle like that, I would be so happy.

All depends on how late the call is, if the whistle goes after the next player has disposed of the ball or is in mid flight getting rid of it, impossible not to play on

Laurie. And I have no idea what he offers.

That is a sensational tackle from Nibbla

This is why he’s the first selected every week.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
