Times are tough.

Since Kayo bills in advance, don't forget to cancel soon.

Cheers.

You can get a Foxtel sport package for $56 per month and you don't have to worry about dodgy delays and krappy internet.

How much more is that than Kayo?

I pay 30 pesos a month for two devices. My mate next door uses it and buys me beer.

For what it's worth I don't have any problems with it ever. Good pic quality and never drops out.

Edited by leave it to deever

Generally my Kayo on tv has been ok but when it has played up it usually worked on my phone without problems (using same wi-fi).

It used to be that only Kayo was well behind the actual match time but I have noticed lately that Foxtel is now also behind. When checking stats on an app I often get spoiled about an upcoming score that hasn't happened on the TV. And yes I know Kayo and Foxtel are the same but Foxtel wasn't always so behind.

I like to imagine that my $30 of Kayo is divided into $7 alimony for Jerry Hall, Wendi Murdoch, Anna Murdoch Mann and Patricia Booker, with the final $2 going to pay for when Tracc is on 360.

It makes it much more palatable.

Kayo is a great service but it's dying as sports are cherry picked by other streaming services.

My guess is that F1 will be the next to go when that deal is up for renewal.

For those having difficulties with Kayo blame your ISP or more likely your home wifi. Unlike movie streaming services kayo buffers only about 30 seconds of program. Movies might buffer 2 minutes or more. If your wifi suffers a minor outage which you would generally never notice while browsing or streaming TV the impact on a live sports stream is almost immediate.

The answer is FTTP and a mesh router. You'll never have a problem with buffering again

4K as well

I was watching the game live on Kayo the other week, then I was told the game finished an hour ago!

Just had a box arrive from work. Yet to plug it in, but the packaging is a bit like Apple. Must be good!

Forget watching it on the TV. Get to the ground and cheer on the boys!!

Get loud! We are in the premiership race!

Absolutely. Although for me that involves a ten hour drive.

I'm wondering now if interest rates and living costs are impacting on attendance. Certainly a months Kayo sub is cheaper than going to one game.

But thanks for supporting the team in person.

Don't forget , they don't have the Grand Final

Kayo works best when it's received directly by the device, when it's cast to a chromecast etc. is when it has issue. I've got a TV in the lounge that has the app and never ever buffers, but out in the man cave where it goes from phone to chrome cast, it frequently buffers. I have yet to convince the good wife that I need a 3rd TV out there - but a more modern one!

I only ever use Kayo via the app on the TV and we have really good, reliable fast internet that was just recently upgraded, and it still constantly buffers. Drives me absolutely mad.

No good JNM, did the TV come with the app or did you have to install it? I've never experienced much buffering through the pre-installed app and that's been a common theme in discussions with friends, the app on the TV works really well but the casting has been ordinary, so sorry to hear yours isn't working. You could try uninstalling and then re-installing or clearing the cache?

It's a Samsung so I just downloaded the app. I didn't think any TVs would come with Kayo pre-installed given it's an Australian app?

I have re-installed the app once which helped a little, but it still buffers mid game sometimes, especially I think, when it's a game that a lot of people must be watching. Never happens when I try to watch a West Coast or North game 🙃

  • NON-MFC: Round 07

Round 7 gets underway in iconic fashion with the traditional ANZAC Day blockbuster. The high-flying Magpies will be looking to solidify their spot atop the ladder, while the Bombers are desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top eight. Later that evening, Fremantle will be out to redeem themselves after a disappointing loss to the Demons, facing a hungry Adelaide side with eyes firmly set on breaking into the top four. Saturday serves up a triple-header of footy action. The Lions will be looking to consolidate their Top 2 spot as they head to Marvel Stadium to clash with the Saints. Over in Adelaide, Port Adelaide will be strong favourites at home against a struggling North Melbourne. The day wraps up with a fiery encounter in Canberra, where the Giants and Bulldogs renew their bitter rivalry. Sunday’s schedule kicks off with the Suns aiming to bounce back from their shock defeat to Richmond, taking on the out of form Swans. Then the Blues will be out to claim a major scalp when they battle the Cats at the MCG. The round finishes with a less-than-thrilling affair between Hawthorn and West Coast at Marvel. Who are you tipping and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

  • PREGAME: Richmond

The Dees are back at the MCG on Thursday for the annual blockbuster ANZAC Eve game against the Tigers. Can the Demons win back to back games for the first time since Rounds 17 & 18 last season? Who comes in and who goes out?
