I call that a professional performance. Well done Demons!

The irony isn’t lost on me that we won this game because we kicked better than the Saints

Geese that win felt a lot like a loss.

Thank god for May and Trac.

Grundy and Gawn need to take a long hard look at them selves letting Marshall completely dominate that game.

time for Kozz to head to Casey

Couldn't understand the negativity on the Game Day thread - it was a high pressure game.

The Aints were fighting us for a top four spot and the came hard at us. We absorbed it and kicked a winning score against a good defensive side.

We did enough and ... FFS .... took the 4 points.

And ....

Woey - a very promising debut.

BBB - good signs and added a positive factor to our forward line.

S. May - You will not see a better defender's game. BOG !!!

Very happy to get the win, but will need to be improving steadily from here to have a chance of doing something in September. Hopefully the start of our run!!! 👌💙❤️

Absorbed plenty. Got the 4 points. Sad sacks still gonna be sad.

The coach said straight kicking was a quick fix.

Now for a forward line and AFL standard footy

I’m overseas so Kayo won’t play ball. The game day thread sounded like we lost by 10 goals. Apparently we won according to the AFL app! Jeez the negativity on here is epic.

Not overly convincing given the situation. But blimey we needed it! One game and percentage clear now. Thank [censored].

Putrid.

Gawn and Grundy got belted.

Taj was good for his first game.

Still don’t have the effort and intensity we should.

May BOG by a mile.

Still a lot of dumb decision making, game plan still seems non existent.

Saints were big, if they don’t have the injuries we lose this.

We battled hard to overcome an injury ravaged St Kilda team. It’s an important 4 points but wouldn’t be mentioning this game again.

Top 3: May, Melk and Trac. Taj did some nice things pity about the goal.

Kozzie terrible. He looks so unenthused. Shadow of his former self.

Will neee to be A LOT BETTER next week.

Onwards, hopefully we find some form and belief while missing important guys.

Anybody looking forward to Brisbane next week?

We need to increase about 15% to be a decent chance.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
