Can't blame the coaches for everything. Players do have brains. Allegedly.

It’s the coaches job to get these players fired up. We are watching top 4 slip away and nobody cares.
Get angry FFS!!!!

So much for the midfield group stepping up to cover Clarry not being there. Hopeless.

Our forward entries are putrid. Bomb it in or when we have a fast break into attack our forwards run back toward goal instead of up to the ball carrier

Summary up to 3Qtr time

overhandballing

turnovers

losing clearances

bombs to inside 50

goody outcoached again

missed tackles

missed opportunities Fritsch Spargo Kozzzy

Surely Spargo has to be dropped

WHAT CAN WE DO?

Just need to be smarter going inside 50

use the corridor

stick tackles

These guys still think it is 2021, selfish and soft football.

They aren't going to win games burning so many opportunities and palying selfish football.

Nothing short of pathetic. Of Goodwin's 6.5 seasons as coach we've put up with 4 seasons of just average football that gets beaten as soon as the pressure is brought around the ball. Freo are a ruckman down, their spuds are running rings around us. It is a common narrative against us.

Voss v Goodwin next week is battle of No Game Plan From Planet B Coaches.

Our clearance game is so rubbish. We need wholesale changes next week.

JVR, Chandler; probably AnB all gotta go

We have too many smalls in the forward line. One of Spargo, Chandler and ANB need to come out for a mid or tall forward.

ANB for Melksham.

Looking forward to the post game thread where people can tell us we don’t understand players roles.

We overcomplicate this game.

This score line is not the umpires fault.. we are playing negative & uninspiring footy. Our game plan is playing right into their hands. No dare.

And what gameplan is that?

Pick 13 for Jackson... such good negotiators we are

But last week Perth media hawking he's no action Jackson.

Except of course we let him have his best game. So us of old.

Forget winning a flag. We can't even win this one.

The wheels have really just fallen off.

Tmac shouldn't play again and Grundy and gawn need to take a look at themselves. Lever and may too.

Top 4 ? We have the hardest draw in the 2nd half. We are a chance to drop out of top 8 after the next 4 games as we have 0-4 written all over us.

If players need someone to motivate them, they have an issue.

I’d like to see Gawn hit it to a player in blue just once out of the middle, stand up skipper and be a match winner!

We have problems everywhere Center clearances, defensive stoppages, ball movement, goal kicking.

We aren't that quick either.

Alarm bells are ringing in my head.

If this is how our midfield operates without Oliver then we have a pretty long month ahead.

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwin’s summer of love. Many issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
