No.

But yes if he does something really stupid.

What if that stupid thing results in a good outcome for us..?

Did I boo Cripps after he got off on appeal last year? Yes.

Did I boo Tom Scully for selling us out? Yes.

Would I boo Jacko? No chance.

I'm halfway listening to Gus and Gawny's interview with Jeff Farmer, who is idolised by almost all Demon supporters yet he made the same move to Freo in 2002 for similar sorts of reasons as Dogga.  It's unfathomable that Dee supporters would boo Jeff and, for related reasons, I think that it would be a shame if Dee supporters boo Dogga.

I'm no angel (maybe that's why I'm a Demon 😀) and I'll confess to premeditated booing of Shane Woewodin when he played for Collingwood from 2003 (even though he was nudged out of Melbourne, who actually paid part of his package at Collingwood).  It didn't make me feel any better at the time; I'm actually rather ashamed of it now that I look back on it.  I can't recall booing any ex-Melbourne players since.

That's my view - each to their own.

Little disappointed with the Wiz in this one. Said he loved both clubs equally.

No issue with him having an allegiance to Freo but I've heard him on the Deebrief and other interviews before when asked where his heart was he'd reply 'Melbourne' without hesitation.

That was totally classless but I'd say retaliation for Dogs fans booing Hunter first rather than any issue with Baker.

This is what Dees fans say, but Oskar was booed before the match even started. When the players were announced individually on the giant screens there was definitely booing when he was shown.

Personally it would take a really disgusting act for me to ever boo.

Professional sport is part of the entertainment business.  I've worked my life in the entertainment business (music) where it's generally acceptable for an audience to cheer or boo whatever they want.

I may be wrong but, though I almost never boo, I support anyones right to do so.  Not to be able to react naturally feels almost like being controlled in some sort of fascist or communist like society or something to me.  Please relax and let others relax at the footy, cheer or boo if they want.  Please be Tolerant of opposing opinions without letting them spoil your enjoyment.  Thanks

Didn't think we announced the away team player by player on the big screen? Can't even remember it, maybe was a Rd 1 thing.

I definitely remember because I was out in the middle at the time and we all clapped when they announced Oskar (he’s very much a cheer squad favourite) and were shocked to hear booing.

I'm not a Boo'r, but have no problem with people doing it, he left the club after 3 years.  sure he went home, but it was the $$ that got him there.  wasted draft pick and resources on him, they drafted him knowing what he could become and him leaving would have changed the whole recruiting method.

Don't care really if people Boo him but some people saying we should applaud him instead is ridiculous !

I think I’m over booing. Even for umpires. I never feel good after it.

Same as like during the last quarter against Port when I threw my phone at the couch and it bounced and crashed into my favourite coffee mug and broke it and my chihuahua looked at me fearful and wide-eyed never having seen such a thing.

Time to rein in the crazy.

Sadly we've all been there. Such a great game to relax by.

I'll be saying Boo-urns

Ridiculous.

Absolutely not.  Smashed it with us.  Premiership player.  Love him.  Good luck to him in Fremantle.  He's a gun.  And he'll get better.

Warming up my voice right now

Listening Steven May on LJ yesterday, he said that Dogga rocked up to a off-season planning meeting after he had been traded was told blunty that he wasnt supposed be attending that meeting.

The guy is genuinely from another planet. i dont think booing will phase him one bit.

Saying he’s from another planet is far too generous. He’s just another thick dude on planet earth.

But no boos from me. Energy wasted.

Just wondering how the booing worked out.

Our supporters are so insipid even the boos were drowned out by the 400 freo supporters there today.

The booing was as poor as the game itself.

Credit where credit is due.......Luke Jackson played well.

I think the umpires actually deserved the booing. They were DISGRACEFUL today! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

About as well as our players defending Gawn when Jackson hit him hard straight in the back.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
