Whispering_Jack 31,368 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Some big changes for this week’s game. In: Harmes Jordon Melksham Woewodin Out: Baldi Buntine Munro Sheridan Jimmy Munro out injured is a big loss. All four MFC players named as emergencies for tomorrow are named four Casey. One will be the substitute and, depending on whether he’s used and for how long, may not play on Sunday for Casey. 1 Quote
Bystander 903 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Hard to see bombers beating that line-up. 2 Quote

Demonstone 23,579 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 With two Smiths and two Turners on our list, it wouldn't hurt to include players' intitials in the team lineup. 2 1 1 Quote

My cousins and I, plus neighbours' kids, were conveyed there in the back of my uncle's ute. But we had a blanket. 1 2 Quote

Roger Mellie 4,205 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Baldi and Sheridan are stiff to be dropped. One will go back in for Jordon. The last time Casey lost Munro didn't play. 1 Quote

They don't have a scoreboard so they wheel in an old fashioned yellow light board.. so small that as a visitor you have to ask where it is. Have seen some videos of the outdoor oval at the Hangar. Looks fine but nowhere near the memories of Windy Hill 1 Quote

spirit of norm smith 16,679 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Loss of Munro and Buntine (and White still out). Very young Casey group. Jordon probably will be sub so expect Baldi to play. 1 Quote

deanox 10,070 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 I don't know why they scheduled Sydney at home. You could have done VFL gather round this weekend in Melbourne. 2 1 Quote

Whispering_Jack 31,368 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 This is probably the first time in several seasons that Casey have gone into a game without both “heart and soul” players in Mitch White and James Munro but to offset that they have a few Demons with a lot to prove and some up and coming Casey players to make this an interesting contest. 4 Quote
MadAsHell 4,217 Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Essendon with both Lenny Hayes and Aaron Lord playing off their half back line. Playing out of position, but good to see they're both still running around after all these years. 2 Quote

Roost it far 10,138 Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 We need Laurie, Turner, Schache and Jefferson and perhaps Adams ripping this game apart, oh and the coach as Goodwin needs to bed dropped after yesterday. 1 Quote

Rare opportunity for a small forward to strut their stuff and take Spargo’s spot, for a week at least. I know the theory behind TMac’s running but also think Schache as a 200cm 26 year old has an opportunity to show how he can be a more potent second ruck as well as forward. 4 Quote
