Ta. Post duly fixed!

As an aside, and at the risk of derailing the koz fest, outside of dees supports, is Fritter the most under rated player in the AFL?

A relatively comparable player role wise is Jemery Cameron.

Cameron is an undisputed star, and his numbers this season are unbelievable. I'm not saying Fritter is better, or even as good as Cameron.

Rather, i'm using Cameron as a benchmark for Fritter. And when you compare their career stats , Fritter doesn't lose too much by way of comparison (its worth noting that Fritter played a big chunk of i think 2019 in defence):

Simple answer is yes. He’s completely underrated and is in the top 6 best forwards in the game for mine.
I have only Cameron and Curnow ahead of him so far this season.

No biggie.

It was etched all over Kozzie's old man's face when i asked him what his plans were.

Well done Kozzie, Well done MFC.

Kossi is elite - his delivery into the fwd line is first class. We are a significantly better team with him playing and I hope he is being handsomely rewarded for what he delivers.

🥳 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROY!!! 🥳

❤️💙

I love the fact that MFC kept on saying that he will stay and some journo's saying he is gone, also the doom and gloom on this web site without a shred of evidence of him wanting to leave.

I guess LJ left a bad taste in the mouths of some supporters but he got so much cash that he could not turn it down in his home town.

I am overjoyed!!!!! Fly me to the moon!!! But make sure Im back to watch the mighty Demons. Reading Kozzie's comments about the deal shows what a sincere young man Kozzie is and how much the MFC means to him and his family.  An outstanding person as well as a footballer. Well done our football department and Mr Taylor take a bow!  Kozzie ,loved by his team mates and us supporters. What a way to start the day. Go DEMONS!!!!!!!

You get the impression that Chandler loves the Club and is loving being part of this team.

Chandler had the chance to get off the rookie list and go to the Crows, he stayed.

I can’t imagine him leaving anytime soon.

Now we can go to the G for the rest of the season and genuinely enjoy Kozzie's talents with the comfort of knowing that he's ours for many a year.

The aplause that Kossie is going to get next time his name and number get called in the pre-game announcements is going to be huge.  Max won't get the biggest one, but I'd love to see his reaction to the applause for Kossie, because I recon he'd have the biggest ear to ear grin like all the rest of us red and blue true believers.

LOVE YOU KOSSIE ❤💙💙💙❤ forever!!

If he was leaving maybe. Holding up well atm.

It survived on the night of the 25th of September 2021, I think it’d survive anything! Which is great since it may cop a hiding come the 30th of September this year!!!!

The Alice game will mean so much more now. Thank you, Kozzy. You make those kids so proud and happy. ❤️💙

Not sure the Alice game will go ahead, now that the Alice Springs Town Council have pulled all games from Traeger Park.

The talk all along has been that if they go ahead with that, then the AFL may pull our game from the Alice, and they doubled down on that threat last week  😢

Kane Cornes is an irrelevant leach who's life is feeding off this stuff.  Now we can deny him the oxygen he craves and/or he can go suck the blood from Collingwood, Essendon or anyone other that the MIGHTY DEMONS.

When was he ever going to be a free agent soon? He won't be until this new 4 year deal is up.

Anyways...Go Kossie, Go Dees.

Sooooooo…. Does this mean Kozzies WA mate (playing for Freo is it?) is also coming over at years end? 🧐🧐🧐🧐

  • NON-MFC: Round 12

Round 12 kicks off with the Brisbane hosting Essendon at the Gabba as the Lions aim to solidify their top-two position against an injury-hit Bombers side seeking to maintain momentum after a win over Richmond. On Friday night it's a blockbuster at the G as the Magpies look to extend their top of the table winning streak while the Hawks strive to bounce back from a couple of recent defeats and stay in contention for the Top 4. On Saturday the Suns, buoyed by 3 wins on the trot, face the Dockers in a clash crucial for both teams' aspirations this season. The Suns want to solidify their Top 4 standing whilst the Dockers will be desperate to break into the 8.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
