Maybe we could compile a list of stuff made up by Cornes:

Yep … former Port Adelaide player Cornsey continues to spruik the “watch this space” line on Kysaiah Pickett. ~

”He has told Melbourne he is staying at the club. Port Adelaide are pushing hard. If not this year, for next Trade Period."

The last sentence is handy cover if his original story from a few weeks ago is proven to be mere scuttlebutt.

Hutchy be making a lot of money out of Trade Radio. 30 minutes of ads per hour = $$$$$

Should read Cornes wishes Kossie wanted to go to Port

A shout out to all those brave souls that listen to, and summarise, AFL Trade Radio so that we don't have to.

Personally, I gave it a go, but couldn't take the pain.

Sad Boy Meets World GIF

I listened to it for about 20 minutes on my way to work today. Got about 10minutes of ads and a discussion on Henry vs Bruhn trade compensation with one of the blokes stating Henry is worth more but admitted to not having watched much, if any, of Bruhn. Quality stuff.

The Mark Waugh special ‘I haven’t seen much of him’. Even better when he was a National selector

4 hours of Matt Rendall is enough to make anyone cry.

Brent Sanderson opined today that -

➡️ Luke Jackson to Fremantle for Pick 13
➡️ Collingwood recieves Pick 13 for Brodie Grundy
➡️ Collingwood pay $300,000 of Grundy's remaining salary

This values a 20/1 year old ready made ruckman originally drafted at pick #3 with a Rising Star and a Premiership behind him at a downgrade of 10 picks from top 3 to pick 13. Tell them they’re dreaming.

To early for anything really.  But Barret saying that WC are not interested in Jackson at all.  And Freo have alot to do to get Jackson in.

I caught that segment too from the podcast.

Edmund said that 32 was not high enough for Grundy, intimating between 13 and 32 was the value.

The Goose, Sanderson then thought 32 was a "sweetener" to get it done ie 13 & 32 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Also "13 & Weid"

Scratch that show off my listens

Port Adelaide GM of Football Chris Davies, on trade radio this morning basically rubbished the idea of Kozzie going to port.

A rubbish idea in the first place.

This thread is quiet

Any word yet about the Dees chasing Naughton?

Apparently Liam Henry is no chance to leave freo per his manager...

(Sorry if this has already been stated elsewhere)

Dees might be interested if he’s super cheap !!! Only probably of any interest if Bedford leaves.

It's 3 days in and I can't listen to Matt Rendell anymore. Is there a doctor in the house?

More fool you for listening…..

I'm guessing this is directed at me, give me something good to listen to and I'll change it.

Nah, just in general.  They prey on the hopes of all teams supporters who didnt win the cup.  This week is conjecture, no real news.  I come on here (DL) to get my hopes built up and dashed - i reckon people on here can make the same ‘educated guesses’ as Trade radio muppets. When things warm up it may get better. Want something different to listen to?  There must be some paint drying somewhere…

Fair enough, it is total garbage at the moment. The Brenton Sanderson clarification on the Rayner stuff was almost as bad as the original comments.

But seriously if you can recommend soemthing else for me to listen to I'll be very grateful!

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
