Port chasing Kozzy Pickett

The only way for a supporter like me, for many years, other than standing out the front of the studio, and feeling like an old fool , is to point out on a forum like what we have here, that these guys on FTA think their op counts more than ours, it doesn't, and that their fellow comperes value their op, which they do not.It is all about comeuppance and gamesmanship which would  need to be explained..to them anyway.

It has taken the Club to gather together a team like we have now many years and I don't want any, one or many, comedian or showman trying to prevent our enjoyment.

This is why the league needs anti tampering rules. There’s no reason for Pickett to cop this speculation now and for an entire year.

Its all so Craig the Labrador Hutchinson can make money from his pitiful media empire one click at a time.

Who on earth  is Michaelangelo Leonardo Roccaceli anyway? One of the leftover ninja turtles? For all we know he’s about as well connected to the trade market as Melksham’s baby.

Well connected at Port, i think he works for the Powa in some capacity.

Club needs to sign him asap. After losing Jackson because mummy wanted him to go home, if we lose Kozzie because he doesn't like the city of Melbourne, only for him to go to [censored] Adelaide, I will vomit up my [censored].

If you don’t renew your membership because of 2 players leaving then maybe footy is not for you.

I’m not talking about me , I’m a 40 year consecutive member, but some more fickle supporters may lose interest

Mentioned again in Damian Barrett's sliding doors today.

Seems to be a fair bit of smoke about this one. Disastrous if it happens - tracking better statistically than just about any small forward since Stephen Milne. And every bit as exciting as Eddie, Cyril or Jeffy.

Why would he want to leave and go to Port anyways. What the attraction there. I can't see it. This is just a BS rumour

Has family in SA, played junior footy there, some hinting in the media maybe he doesn't like the big city so much.

There's plenty of reasons, which doesn't mean it will happen of course.

I always thought he was from WA. Is it his extended family that are based in SA?

You know what they say…

From WA originally, but also has family in SA and played footy there.

I think he went to live with uncle Byron when he was in school (not sure the exact age), this was in South Aust. Both Cornes and Rucci are notorious for making up things that suit the SA clubs, and then sooking about the Vic media bias.

Yeah he did, and seems really close to him and his sons especially. I don't think he would go, and you're right about the SA media, but I can see how it could be a possibility I guess.

His Mum passed away in early 2021. She was Byron's sister.

His Dad's side of the family are Ngarrindjeri, which is in SA.

Thanks LN - my comment was meant as a joke and to be light hearted given the commentary around LJ

In hindsight and knowing the circumstances it was not appropriate

all the talk is about Port going hard at Kossie, not Kossie is considering, or Kossie might be on the move or anything like that.

so all it is is port want him are are trying to use his SA connections to pry him from us.

is no reporting that he is considering it, which is good.  The bad thing is that we have tried to extend his contract and he has put of talks, which isn't unusual for a kid of his talent, this is one we don't want to lose so dees make him super comfortable next yr.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
