I think you might find that modern methods of training and preparation of players has advanced in the past decade or so. He will be rested and ready for Friday night’s game if required.

Well if our AFL MC are looking to go with a second tall forward next week, Weid was the one to put his hand up in tough conditions today.

I didn't see today's game, but I don't think Goody will so quickly forgive Weid for his last AFL outing. If he is picked, he must be the forward leading up to the wing, and BBB must stay deeper.

His skills just don’t suit our game style. He isn’t a bad footy player, he just isn’t a pack busting, contested marking forward that we need/want him to be.

He would be serviceable at a number of clubs that have faster ball movement.

Ah Now Billy let me tell you something, Dazzle Davey is one of the most Astute, if not the most astute poster on Demonland. He knows the game and is always on the money. Show some respect young man!

Maybe just bring Weid in for Brown and keep the current set up. Brown isn’t offering much with his one arm in the air mark attempts and running under the ball all the time. At least Weid has more potential atm

No ...Just NO NO NO!

Won’t play no matter what the conditions were today Mr. Leg. His only chance of a game for the remainder of this year is if we lose both ruckman.

BBB, Joel Smith, Melksham and Kozzi - with a resting ruckman - time for some real synergy with Tracca at the ready shallow forward and midfield.

Gotta wonder how much his knees are affecting his game

Absolutely NO, NO, NO! Weid leaves us short a key player in every contest - and does not make the contest a mobile one. Prefers to be brushed aside for a free kick or peripheral spectator positionl

Dismayed that Casey have continued on with that error-riddled strategy of winning every game in the 2022 VFL season!

Oh, be fair. The poor things cannot help it.

    GAMEDAY: Rd 13 vs Collingwood

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie
