Collingwood letting him go to Bali is hilarious

There's a footy team in Bali willing to pay him $4 mil??

I dunno Uncle... he looked pretty lit to me

Gropey, boozed, and a long way from drug testing when you have a track record of sexual harassment, unhinged drinking and a bit of [redacted] stuff going on as well.

Also;

Jason Horne-Francis getting hacked at for, literally, visiting his mother.

Anyway, I predict this will greatly help Petracca's form, as De Goey was basically put on this earth to provide a cautionary tale of what Petracca's life would be like if he just half-arsed it as both a player and human being. A real 'ghost of Christmas present'.

How would have Dennis Rodman gone playing AFL Footy and avoiding the scrutiny during his famous trips to Vegas mid season?

😂😂😂

Collingwood are the fools in this story more so than De Goey.

They let the most immature party animal in the league head over to party animal territory right in the heart of a season which they are now contender in,, and now have to face a week of negative press rather than enjoy a well earned week off after a sensational start.

I understand the clubs can’t control 100% of their players lives but this particular player is a complete exception to the rule  after the NY incident:

Is there proof they knew?

That may be the understatement of 2022 Bbo.

A nothing story

So what exactly has De Goey done wrong here? He's entitled to a holiday and he's entitled to dance badly. Hasn't broken any club rules. The HUN just trying to create a story out of nothing much

What he has shown is a lack of professionalism. But we already knew that

So the media have vaguely said without saying it that he is off his face, there was also supposedly footage of him harassing a woman which might have shown him attempting to grope a lady (not sure, thought I read it but haven’t watched any of the videos),

it’s more the fact that they don’t think he should be in a situation that could bring him and his club down. And jeopardise a contract he could get.

But the AFL can target drug test him if they want, the club could stop him going,  but they haven’t and that’s their call. I hope that if he does anything dumb or harmful it is to none but himself.

Glass houses everyone. Just saying.

If he backs it up on the field then let him take a mid-season holiday to blow off steam.

Love how in the Last Dance even Jordan reflects how Rodman came back from one of those benders and totally smashed everyone at training.

Roadmap was a classic how he'd take off to Vegas, literally miss games, and the Coach and players had no idea when he'd be back.

Personally I think players are under so much pressure and they should be able to enjoy themselves during their break like everyone else. This is a nothing story.

I was so angry when Petracca was having a laugh & Hi5s to DeGoey, Quaynor, Moore & Dacois before the game

l known I’m an old f@rt but it made me think these guys are all to comfortable with themselves

Didn’t see Clarry or Max do it

B Smith and drugs = mental health

DeGoey, Pina Coladas and boogieing = media sharpening pitchforks.

I guess DeGoey is a big boy and can handle Robbo labelling him the ‘dumbest’ player of his generation. On a weekend where we paid tribute to the late Danny Frawley.

Spot on!

The double standards are ridiculous

Assume Robbo hasn't been drunk inappropriately, ever?

Specifically, what do you suggest Colinwood do BBP? Just interested.

Murder on the Dance Floor on so many levels.

The only thing the Filth would be spewing about is that the AFL's compensation to Colinwood for loosing Jordan at the end of the season is diminishing hour-by-hour ATM.

Look it’s not illegal to go to Bali and act a fool. It’s also not the smartest move for a guy in ordinary form, wanting a big contract, and with a hell of a lot of awful behavior in his past

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
