Getting back to LJ and pineapple, was he sheltered from fruit as a kid or never eaten a Hawaiian pizza?

Anyway I hope this quarter McDonald steps up and kicks some and Kozzie gets back to his 1st quarter performance where he played really well.

Not a great quarter but just need to restrict their scoring and put a few more on. FWIW our percentage has already surpassed Brisbane’s on the live ladder. Lower opposition scores yield better percentages, keep going boys!

Last time we played on this ground we only kicked one goal in the second quarter as well. That turned out ok.

We're not playing WCE. We're playing a VFL reserves team.

And we're ahead by 8 goals lol

Most of what you say is either wild hyperbole or factual nonsense, like that. You can’t possibly be surprised at how the rest of us on here react.

Too much Hollywood [censored] today. Get back to basics and we win by 100+. This is poor.

That was just dumb by Gawn. Not only could he have concussed himself but he should have let it for McDonald. Tom should have been having a shot except it goes down the other end and they get a goal.

Is Underwood a recruiting officer for WA clubs. Everyone leaving next it will be Rivers

Clique ridden commentary. It's an insult to the collective intelligence.

Certainly way off the boil since quarter time.

1 goal 4 behinds each.

Not at all inspiring.

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
