Why was Tracs goal not allowed???

Langdon puts hands in the back of GWS player. Really, really soft. Usually that free never gets called no matter how blatant. This one was barely contact

Tmac must have a huge second half

If our midfield start working flat out we win this easily, if they keep running around like a training drill we could lose this.

Langdon tiny push in the goal square.
BS free.

Touched (?)

She paid a free kick for a push that wasn’t at all a push and would result in 300 free kicks a game of that’s what counts as a push.

Push in the back from Langdon. Was there

Weeds Experiment is OVER Mc Donald next to useless

She is hopeless. Should be confined to umpiring AFLW only.

Until the end of winter at least.

Hitouts +3, clearances -13. Talk about disconnect between rucks and rovers.

Giants always pick off Gawns taps.he needs to hit onto the outside.

Just need to get back to what we did right in the first quarter.

Langdon had 2 shockers when going for goal.

Weid & McDonald need to work out what they're doing up forward.

Also our mids are getting smashed in clearances. That needs to be fixed up

Oliver not himself at this stage. Needs to lift

Are TMac and Weed just decoy forwards these days?

Clearances a huge concern.

If Harmes is running with Coniglio he is getting thrashed.

It was a push, totally stupid and unnecessary by Langdon.

Stats wise he’s been pretty quiet but I thought his attack at the footy was ok…..would like to see the footy stick In his hands though!

He looked at one stage to take a chest mark one handed, not sure if he was being held but that’s how it appeared.

Yep, work ethic is not there in the middle. Put some hungry kids in there. Jacko, Sparrow, Jordon, I’m sure Gus would love a run in the middle.

What they are doing is having a nice evening supper of Hot Cross Buns and Hot Chocolate

Would help if they kicked it to Weid instead of in the air against 3.

Both would want to have a big second half.

Trash umpiring is trash.

We’ll turn it on for five minutes and win, but we’re just going atm.

  • GAMEDAY: Essendon

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
