Hellofatime 84 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Robert Flower The greatest, most fairest, most skillful, most modest, most courageous footballer I have ever seen. How he would be so happy now with our Demons on top. We miss you Robbie. 16 7 Quote

Demon Disciple 12,538 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Given the onfield impact he had in what were very poor teams (for the majority of his career), imagine the damage he would be capable of in our current team 🍆 3 Quote

Supreme_Demon 4,144 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 I am still hopeful the MCC will erect a statue in tribute to Robbie Flower. I think it would be a wonderful way to have a significant legacy for one of the greatest Melbourne Demons players ever. 4 4 Quote

Supreme_Demon 4,144 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Let's hope that we can all continue to lobby the MCC to have a statue put up of Robbie Flower. If enough of us continue to push tgis suggestion then hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later. Here is a great highlights video of all the amazing feats done by champion Melbourne Demons player Robbie Flower. https://youtu.be/GPzSMlrG-o0 3 1 Quote

Star of the 80s 154 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 If Shane Warne can have a Grand Stand named after him at the MCG... the Robbie Flower wing should be a permanent fixture at the G! 3 Quote
layzie 34,528 Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 (edited) What I would have given to see Tulip play live, seen so much footage and the man seemed to flat on air. Brought his best for the State games and was so widely respected in this league. Edited April 18, 2022 by layzie 1 Quote
