AFLW GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Adelaide

Featured Replies

This team is just plain lazy… they cannot expect to win if they don’t put in the effort. Too many players just walking around.

We look so panicked.

Ugh that's frustrating.

We are so fumbley. Harris needs to have more of a physical impact.

And some sort of score would be nice

Gonna get very very ugly…..

They can still do a Melbourne 2021 GF…

They Kick it to a three on one every time there go forward.

Mostly because they run much harder than we do into defensive positions

Adelaide out-working us, either through greater fitness or desire, but there are constantly more Crows jumpers at every contest than Dees jumpers.

the quality of football on our part is shocking. Skills are on par with U10's football. Adelaide looks clean, fit and prime to set an AFLW GF record.

Kicking to Harris on 4 players isn't the answer.

Thank GOD for Bannon. We would have one goal in 2 weeks if not for her.

This is why Adelaide have dominated this competition. They are do well drilled, disciplined, have such strong bodies & mark the ball cleanly.

This is like watching Port Power Thursday night.

Nar Port hadn't kicked a goal at half time.

Bannan is a bloody star.

brilliant block lauren pearce. thats the type of desperation the rest of the team need to show

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
