The year's four best sides get there. Dogs vs lions you could barely split them, in home and away, and in finals. But we're here now.

Dees vs Port clearly the bookies choice.
Dees vs Dogs is not without a chance.

Cats vs anyone can GDIAF

Ok, the path is set.

We know we have to beat geelong and one of port/bulldogs. It suddenly feels very real.

I’m not going to going to lie. I’m an instant nervous [censored] wreck whenever I think about the next two weeks.

Great game and effort by both sides tonight but Port will pump the Dogs, 70+ points.
Bont injured, Weightman out, no ruckman, 1 tall fwd, Port off the weeks rest.

Port have one of the most vacant freeway drives to a GF in recent memory. They couldn't stuff this up

I may be wrong but pleased we don't face dogs midfield till gf. Cats have a couple of potent forwards yes. But dees have appropriate AA defenders. Plus others.

Cats midfield is manageable.

Happier port have dogs.

Yeah that's probably a fair point depending on how these sore guys pull up.

Fox Footy were saying just before that Cody Weightman could potentially play because he was subbed due to a head knock but not ruled as concussion?

Did anyone see that?

Someone must've put a gun to the Doc's head in the rooms.

Yes, same thing apparently happened with a Collingwood player throughout the year and the AFL didn’t let them play the following week. So will be very interesting what happens this week.

What the [censored] is the difference? You get a head knock that renders you unable to play out a game. Is that not a concussion? I’m very confused by what is a head knock so severe you can’t play, if it’s not a concussion 🤷‍♀️

Bloody ridiculous if you can’t play the next week just because are subbed out. Unless you are concussed. Play on!

Not a doctor, but I imagine you could cop an injury that fractures your skull but does not cause a concussion. Conceivable I suppose.

It might depend on how he came off the ground, was he groggy and stumbling off the ground?

I didn't see the incident was he assisted by medical staff or players?

Sounds very suspect though.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
