Jackson's set shots have improved out of sight in the last half of the season.

Really impressive.

Gawn wasn;t the option there for Sparrow. He was double teamed

Mature response from us. Clearly wind favouring one end.

Gawn worries me. Jackson looks so much better in the ruck and Max just looks incredibly slow at the moment and for the last few weeks. Missing marks and fumbly, needs to be much better. His marking around the ground is his one wood. It's been missing for weeks.

Max is probably so tired.

Commentators making excuses for Adelaide about free kicks, my goodness.

I like to think I’m above this but there clearly is a lot of commentators who don’t want to acknowledge that we are now good.

Easier to make snow jokes I guess.

We’ve been in this position before and wasted it.

I hear ya...

Gees the umpires are loving us

Gee we’re having a good run with the umps.

Smith is a lock for next week if he keeps playing like this for the rest of the game

hopefully they've switched allegiances from the doggies. Would be good to have them on our side for finals

When Gawn's fit he runs hard forward and usually kicks a few goals.
Hasn't done that since the 1st qr of the season

We've controlled the footy this qtr

Now beating them in uncontested possies

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
