How many times has Viney been caught?

It's actually a joke.  You think he'd learn at some point.

Going head to head with Harmes for the world record of being caught with the ball ?

Thank you Ben Brown, for ending the inside 50 butchery….not looking at you in particular James Harmes.

still stressed enough to have a chip at Viney though ?

He makes it easy

We've lost the shallow inside 50 vibe and it's not only costing us goals, but it's a worry that it's our default setting.

Smarten up with the delivery boys.

What a quarter!

Love how we’re not wanting to slow it down even with 10 seconds left in the quarter.

This is what we’ve been waiting for. ❤️?❤️?❤️?

Viney is killing me

Yep Harmes and Viney need to stick to simple skills. I get that they want to look silky but it’s not their 1 wood.

What a magnificent Sunday this is. Need to keep going and crush them. We could repent for 186 right now

We have a chance of winning this.

And a change to gain some percentage on north and hawthorn who have also had draws.

Yeah, Harmes and Viney have been terrible. Bring in JJ for one of them.

AFL App says T McDonald is injured, but I didn't see anything?

5.6 is frustrating but they completely flooded our front half so it was always going to get messier.

Viney now up to 4 HTB against, by my count. Kicking improved that quarter though.

Harmes just does not learn from his mistakes.

Loving Brown’s workrate as much as anything. Also loving Petty’s game.

Tmac just having a well deserved rest on the bench?

On the radio they said he was talking to Burgo and they looked concerned ?

Loved Boweys specci attempt

I usually try and chip in with analysis in the quarter breaks, but what can I say?

The Suns are becoming an impediment on the league. Stuie Dew might have been a good coach in an established set up, but he’s clearly not the right guy (I hate that phrase) to lead them to respectability.

The AFL needs to parachute Clarko in there ASAP. This is concerning…

Reading a few of the comments here, I can only assume we're 30 - 40 points down.

Great way to spend a relaxing Sunday arvo with a couple of beers on the couch, McKeon wins another gold and they Demons absolutely putting their foot down on an opponent.

Bowey has been solid on debut

Finish it off now Demons.

Our 4th biggest 3/4 time lead in our history!

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
