Don’t delude yourself guys. Richmond will play for 10 minutes in the last quarter and win by 87.

And jack get junk time goals

Quite torn with this one. Richmond by far have more dislikable players and fans however seeing St Kilda fall apart in the second half and lose would also be enjoyable.

You've been missing a pretty good season so far.

Trying to keep the Tigers in it

Is it only StKilda that can be penalised for in danger?

In the context of the season we need Richmond to lose. Nobody wants them in the top 4.

Well, live ladder has Tigers down to 8th, so I guess AFL HQ won’t want them to miss out.

Saints going well but being run down in the second half will be a bit heartwarming but they need the Tigers to win.

Rule of the week/game/quarter/whatever.

Enjoying what I am seeing but if the tigers lose it may give the druggies a bit more confidence.

Must be a sheet game.
Neither club hardly scored in the 2nd.
And no, I'm not watching.

Richmond are terrible tonight. Worst i've seen them play for awhile.

Just tuned in after a long day....this is just gold ! The poor old tigres....BTs love children team only 1 goal and cant hit the side of a barn with their kicking.

Feel sick watching the Umpires try to get the Toigs back into the game…??‍♂️

Love seeing Richmond embarrassed but hate that it’ll spur on the Bombers tomorrow to try and get into the 8…?

Richmond just don’t seem as hungry this year or as fit.

A Saints win would be good for us.

If we can win and Bulldogs lose to Weagles over there which is highly likely we can go two games clear of anybody

Richmond have got their eye on that ninth spot...

What a ridiculous free kick....what was the saints player supposed to do????

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
