If West Coast win all their Perth games from here they finish on 11. But their remaining Perth games include Richmond, the Dogs and us.

So if they drop one of those home games, they'll need to find at least two, if not three, road wins, and that's just to make the finals, let alone top 4 which will be another 1-2 wins.

Their road wins are Carlton (in Sydney), Sydney, Adelaide, Collingwood and Brisbane.

Essentially that says to me if they drop the Carlton game next week they are in real trouble to even make the finals.

Looks like he’s feasted too much on Mum’s traditional Dalo, Rou Rou, Miti with coconut  lolo all cooked in a Lovo oven with banana leaves.

Was there a reason for Essendon not wearing their indigenous jumper today?

Needs to drop at least 5 kegs.

Reckon West Coast are the unfittest team in the league. We'll run all over the top of them we we play them later in the year.

What’s the bet a dodgy free kick or non decision decides this game?

I said the exact same thing to my my mates at half time when watching the Melbourne vs Crows game last week hahahah

Significant win for Essendon and, given their relatively easy draw in the back half of the season, it might have given them a potential finals spot. This could spell big trouble for one of Sydney, West Coast or Richmond.

meth coke ran out of … whatever they took in their 1990s dominant period, and maybe the peptide kids found where they had hidden it?

So many clubs now falling over each other to make up the numbers in the bottom half of the eight this year. Even Carlton and Adelaide can join the hoi polloi if they both win today.

WC were being severely punished for their "standby player" attitude in a familiar decision, coincidentally to the mob they were playing against yesterday. Plus some critical injuries.

All the talk this week will be about the Bombers. Demons win will be the minor story.

I'm ok with that !!!

and Carlton if they manage to knock over the Swans

Covid really helping non melbourne based teams.

It will nullify vic team home advantage which ironically is why interstate clubs do so well.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
