When Trac burst through the centre he should put it to the forwards. That handball to Clarrie was a horrible option. If he didn’t like any option coming at him have a shot, he was in range,

can't see what's ahead of him on tv. for all we know they had numbers down back.

Much better the last 15 minutes or so. Pressure and we got our defensive game working. Spargo, AND and Kozzie stepped up. Finish them off this quarter Demons

Come on Dees.........show em..

Every time we play a lowly team near the bottom of the ladder we play to their standards!?

Except that the Crows are playing excellent, high pressure, fast footy.

Every team regardless of ladder position will turn up to our game as they want to hunt the top team. No easy games - doesn’t help when your in 1st gear until the 3rd quarter.

One day soon we will be dominating so much we can sit back & enjoy the last quarter

it'll never happen - mfcss says so

righto - just need to win the last quarter as is the norm and we're 'home' and 10-0

ANB having a shocker.

Yep but sadly there are just too many with him.

Oliver is keeping us in this and Trac was good.

Our forward line sucks. There I said it. Didnt think I would.

This is why Sam W has trouble getting games. He has bbb fighting for his spot but he this is the intensity we get from him.

Its his sixth season I think.

So hoping for more from him.

But I guess as said so many others are off as well.

If Nibbler, Langdon, kozzie, Jordan Spargo , Hunt and maybe even Mrlksham can decide to do something we may just make it.

Not sure melks in the centre bounce is the way to go

Just a question from an long time but ignorant football watcher. Do umpires EVER report anyone any more?

Two reported this game.

ANB terrible

I’ve never wanted anyone to be right about anything more than I want you to be right about this.

How was that not a free to Ed for front on contact!

Lever has been good.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
