Next year?

Bloody hope not, still donโ€™t understand the difference between 85% and 100%.

ย

I just got an email from MFC talking about the ticketing โ€œRedemption Windowโ€.

I feel this is appropriate terminology given the Demonsโ€™ chance for redemption is now.ย
ย

btw, any tips on getting tickets anywhere near my regular tickets? Lately, despite best efforts, we seem to end up on the other side of the ground.

15%

See what happens when our members ship numbers rise and we win lots of games. Imagine what it must be like for Tigers members trying to get tickets. Not that I wish for the reverse, theย one upside of watching onย the Tele.

Likewise. Enjoyed the win against tigers with a sprinkle of rain in the Southern Stand as opposed to the undercover Olympic stand seats I have paid for for years. Clues from those more expert at defeating Ticketeckย would be gratefully received.

Not sure why people are worried about 85 or 100%. Weโ€™re not filling stadiums yet. Weather aside I was disappointed with the turnout onย Anzac Eve. Canโ€™t imagine the crowd will top that figure.ย

I guess it's the hope that returning to 100% capacity will also mean not having to book your seats through Ticketek.

ย

Got my seats. Level 2, southern stand, right on the wing. Perfect.

I normally get an email or text giving me my bar codes for tikatek, ring up on the Tuesday after 1.00 and get my tickets, but I haven't got my emails/texts so far.

I'm a bit concerned that they have stuffed up, is anyone else in the same boat?

Enjoy the win.ย  Dees will run them off their feet after half time.

got my email(s) last night.ย  ย i can book from 3pm today

barcodes are exactly the same as before, so you should just book at same time with same barcode

to be safe you could just ring club this morning

Pretty hard when the ticketing system breaks down for 6 hours. Getting a ticket and sitting with family and friends is a complete joke,ย

The bars are just insane. maybe 60 ppl in the bullring and 140 standing toe to toe outsideย

Very hard if you want to go with friends and/or family, sit together etc etc.

Maybe we should all march on the MCG and extinction rebellion activists as that crowdย seems to be allowed to gather in whatever numbers they want.

I donโ€™t think that will happen anytime soon. The reasonย beingย the powers that be canโ€™t, on the one hand, threaten five years prison for any Australian who attempts to return home from India,ย and at the same timeย allow 100% capacity on crowds at the footy. That is unless they were seen to be offering a trade-off, eg, mandatory mask wearing at the ground. I would happily wear a mask. Hells, Iโ€™d wear full PPE. But then my standards arenโ€™t high since (as a result of circumstances beyond my control) I don't get to attend as many matches as Iโ€™d like. ย

N49 Again.

Bring it on.

Me too, see you there!

The next arranged blockbuster is the dreamtime game in June/July. Can't see them going to 100% by then but not impossible.

Then it's the finals.

QB will probably be around 50k given Collingwood's year.

You just know there will be mini covid breakouts. How they are dealt with who knows.

Got level 2A this weekend...very pleased.

Federal aholes vs state aholes on those pints I would have thought. As in itโ€™s up to the state government to allow the capacity change for venues and the heartless national government has locked Aussies out.ย

True. I guess since this situation is unprecedented the rules are kinda being made up as we go. Trial and error of biblical proportions.ย

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isnโ€™t a standard conceptโ€”itโ€™s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking. ย We filled our boots with percentage โ€” now a whopping 520.7% โ€” and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourneโ€™s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasnโ€™t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's ย six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his teamโ€™s unfulfilled potential rang true โ€ฆ well, almost.ย
