Viney is a must, we need speed and tackle  Chandler

outs ANB Jetta Jones

In better clearance, if we play the same way saints will destroy us on the outside, viney viney viney

Saints will be playing in a swamp off a 6 day break and have plenty of injuries

perfect time to get them

Harmes needs to go.

Jetta and Jones did pretty well.

Hunt should feel nervous with Hibberd now fit.

Rivers had a shocker but keep.

Harmes was woeful. Disposal appalling. Sparrow didn’t do enough.

Depending on fitness Viney, Melksham and Hibbo will all push their claim.

Harmes out please, lazy lazy game

Goody put harmes as a Fyffe tag in the last 10 minutes. He was ok but if he doesn't tag he's out. James jordan embarrassed a few out there today.

Well fyfe ran rings around him in that case

Doubt you can play Jetta and Hibberd in the same side. Even if they both have more ability than Hunt.

Melksham and Viney - both needed in the 22 at their best, both ordinary if they aren’t on. Sparrow and Jones the most likely outs I guess?

Harmes had some stinking moments but I feel like our midfield covers the ground far better with him in there.

Also want to give Chandler a chance sooner rather than later. He has some class. Can we play him on the wing?

ANB... you gotta be kiddong

Out Sparrow, Hunt and Jetta

In Viney, Hibberd, Melksham

I only knew Fyfe was playing when he was giving away free kicks (paid or not paid)

Who’s moving to half back in that scenario? Melksham?

On balance No changes for mine

They'll be better for the run

Give the boys who got the job done a chance to do it again

I thought most did their part today .

However, Viney must come in if fit.  Milshake will also probably get a gig.

I thought Hunt was ordinary today. I know he has pace but it's not much use if he doesn't get a hold of the pill and breakaway or lay some rundown tackles. Can't recall Sparrow doing much either.

In - viney, melksham, hibbo

out - hunt, sparrow, Jones

JOnes and Jetta will not and should not be dropped. Jetta won a lot of 1:1s today and was very solid down Back

Sparrow, Jones and Hunt the clear three contenders to make room for any potential inclusions IMO. Harmes wasn't fantastic but I don't think he was anywhere near as bad as people are suggesting.

If fit, I'd consider Viney and Melksham for Sparrow and Jones. Hibberd could maybe take Hunt's spot. Yes there's a speed loss there, but Hunt made so many mistakes today it might still be a net win.

Jetta? You gotta be kidding.

Wtf? Jetta was actually good today. He won a number of critical one on ones.

Ins: Viney (Harmes forward to take Jones’ spot), Hibberd, Chandler

Outs: Jones, Hunt, ANB

Yes he did, I meant to write Harmes not Jetta

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
