Half Time: CD: 4.6.30 v NB: 1.2.8

This is either a defensive slog or skill level is poor. Are you there NC?

Sadly no Old Dee, I am currently drowning in Sydney - and so jealous of those attending the G on such a glorious Melbourne day.

My info has been plagiarized from the Casey Demons Twitter feed (and i don't even have a Twitter account!)

As you probably remember Autumn is the best season in Melb. Also the driest.

Or a strong wind blowing one way?  Looks like Casey did all of their scoring at one end and the other lot just didn't do much scoring at either end.

That would be nice - my turf

The club website us pretty ordinary with no info on this game or even interviews with the senior players after the win.

Yes, why can't we get information on this game ?

I see that we demolished the Bullants by 8 goals nine yesterday. Was anybody at the game who can report on how our AFL listed players performed?

Interesting - we know that Kade Chandler missed because he was the unused sub for the MFC game but did Oskar Baker, Jake Bowey and Harry Petty sit the day out as well?

Could it be they had a run in the seniors practice game vs Bulldogs?

Take it easy - it’s Sunday morning. Plenty of time for someone who was there to put a report on the club website.

I noticed a comment under one of the posts on the Casey Demons' Facebook Page for yesterday's game against the Northern Bullants, in which the poster had stated: "i know majac kicked 4 we need him in our forward line in the seniors".  Encouraging signs for Majak, if true; could be a chance for a call up soon?

Yes I'd say there's absolutely no rush.

The thing that I don’t understand is if someone is there to tweet the quarter by quarter scores couldn’t they at least manage goal kickers and best players?

Would take all of 30 seconds to get that information.

Maybe they’re holding off for the worlds best match report.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
