We should never have had to rely on Tassie Northorn.
Never have trusted them.

Our own fault of course.

I will have to do another first - GO SUNS.

No need running for the razor blades until next week - Freo on a huge roll & will be tough for Doggies.

It shouldn’t cost us. Bulldogs can only jump our percentage if they win (or we lose) and they will jump us anyway in that case

It wasn't as damaging percentage wise as it was looking early.

I hope that Gunston no score doesn't cost us in the end.

Such a Melbourne result if it does.

It can't hurt us

We must win, Dogs must lose for % to matter. If that happens our % is already higher and getting better

Ah mathematics you know your stuffed when your relying on that. Still haven’t got over 76 let hope it 87

hopefully doggies regret not putting their foot on the hawks throat in the 2nd half.

....at least we can barrack for Hoges..

Dont write off the Suns tomorrow night, give them a much bigger chance than the Dorks today.

yeah ethan,  watching this dross i'm glad we never merged with these losers

What about  the 4 flags !!!???

Thankfully the second half didn't play out like the first. A win and a Dogs loss next week and we play finals.

The Dogs have been good against bottom 10 sides all year so the odds are against us, but I see a Dogs loss to Fremantle as more likely than Collingwood losing both games.

MFCSS says we miss out on percentage to St Kilda.

Can someone perhaps start a thread following all this, together with info on percentages etc.?

Go Suns but can't see it.  Need for GWS to put the Saints away on Friday night.  We will then know the equation for Sat afternoon....and we want a dry deck to facilitate high scoring against the druggies.  If that doesn't do the trick, get on the Freo bandwagon on Sunday......

One hurdle at least was jumped for us in that the Dogs were looking at a 12 goal win and the Hawks kept it to 6.

Thus they cannot beat our % if they lose next week and we win. Otherwise we would be 9th on a lower % .

The dogs now MUST beat freo to stay in the 8, and cannot afford to cruise to avoid injury.

Small mercy but it all adds up.

They will next weekend as we did in 2017. Freo are not now playing like a bottom side and have an excellent strategic coach in Longmuir. GWS showed how to put the Dogs away in last years finals. Aggressively tag Bontempelli

Longmuir was probably part of taking us down in 2017. Hopefully he can do us the favour this time

Need a large sinkhole to take out Pies during qtr time huddle. Only ever see those under motorways in the States but hey - it's 2020.....

I don’t see the suns beating Collingwood. Our best chance is GWS beating saints then us taking the percentage into our own hands against Essendon. Freo is also a decent chance

Agree. And he was often quoted as a key reason Buckley got the Pies to the 2018 GF as part of that coaching squad.

And they have the mighty Nat Fyffe as a foil to the Bont.
