Mate, you said he's a dead eye in front of goals. He's now playing back because Hore is injured. Before that he was forward. Fool.

I can't believe how far behind the radio broadcast is from the play on the ground on the AFL website. There is hardly any point in listening to it.

digital delay.. agree it renders the service impossible for use at the ground.

The old transistor I am afraid is the only way.. you can buy them at the $2 shops still but few other places.

Watch out for operation Evenerupper by the umps

Carlton are -40 frees for the year.

71% by foot this quarter vs 59% last quarter.  Amazing what happens when you slow the game down a little and look for players by foot....and more players lead up

There you go 38pts....

Carlton are not out of it and we are down to 2 on the bench.

Hmm they're doing a better job around stoppages than us but we lead the centre clearances.

TMac is having a game today.

11 score involvements not bad.......just what he needs

Ten goals Tommy! For confidence, if nothing else.

Every forward 50 entry is a goal to Carlton. The backline is having a shocker. Doesn’t help that Hore is down.

Because their F50 is open, a product of ball living in our few half

Why can't we just get a run of goals on? Whenever we kick one, they get it back.

10.8 to 8.2 since quarter time

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
