How good has Brayshaw looked this quarter??

I love these jumpers......

Great first quarter, but boy Brayshaw couldn't have done much worse in that last 1 minute of play! Especially after kicking such a fantastic goal!

No. Just very slippery.

Isn’t that two quarters in a row we have won.  A first this year I think

Where was this effort last week?

Jeffy has looked lively, although I wish he'd use his chances more. Promising stuff from Weid, Baker and Hunt. Brayshaw has looked good here and there but geez he looks so horribly down on confidence, hopefully that goal helps.

If I had a dollar for every time OMac lost his feet...

We won the first three against WC...

That was a pizzweak effort from o Mac then. Lucky Jenkins is an equally inept footballer

Gus, Clarry and Trac are all on so far. Makes a big difference.

A couple of efforts from bailey last in the Q to make up for a poor Q

If I had a dollar for every time I have sworn  at some of Melbourne play in the last 50 years!

So can we safely say that there is no such thing as holding the man, around the neck or dropping the ball in the AFL?

Well apart from a few dumb frees that was a good quarter. Weid looks good and happy to have Hibbard back in the backline. Lets keep it going. Maxy dominating the ruck.

Hahaha jinxed him hey...

Makeshift backline could be our undoing here. The question is going to be if we can kick a big enough score to overcome the goals we're going to leak up the other end. Still, at least we're kicking goals and looking like a decent team. Next week with More, Salem, May and Lever in ... look out.

I'm liking our forward entries. Finally, the boys are running into good spaces, we're lowering the eyes a little and not being so damn predictable.

I tipped us tonight. Just goes to show, if you tip us enough, sometimes you're 1/4 right!

Depends on how much the crowd yells

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
