This game has been so costly. Hibbo now Melksham down and my eyeballs are in permanent disarray from watching this garbage.

Jones standing up at the right time.

Didnt know Jones was playing up until that last goal assist

What the hell is wrong with Brayshaw?

Something is not ok with Gus. Really. He looks like he is not alert. What’s happening?

It’s ironic how Gold Coast are getting more out of Sam Collins then we are from Lever, May and Omac combined.

We just can’t put them away

Worst I've seen Brayshaw play.

Wagner was shocking at the contest.

My guess is that his being forced to run defensively and is stuffed.

Gus and Viney drawn to the ball when we had players there....neither covered the back ....easy goal

Gus has been a complete liability the entire game.

Explain to me, how a team can be smashing the clearances, almost double the tackles, have 50 more disposals and 20 more inside 50s, and the game can still be tight.

Silver lining... umm... if we get our kicking together (or at least choose to kick) and learn to stick some marks (or at least go for them a bit more) then things could transform rapidly...

Edit: Oh, yes, also, kick for goal a bit better.

Must have heat stroke?

so, there was this old bloke mining up at broken hill in 1880 and he receives a telegram from home "sorry to inform you that your mother in law has suddenly passed away, what do you want us to do with her body? Embalm it, bury it or cremate it?" quick as a flash he sends the following telegram. "take no chances do all three" That's what the Dess should do with this season

Melk back...woot!  All we need now is good news on Hibb

I swear to [censored] God if they are risking Melksham and he gets reinjured I am going to kill everyone.

Just clone Salem a dozen times. Problem solved.

seriously everytime I check the score we are 2 goals in front, I come back and the suns have pegged one back. Are we not capable of kicking goals in a row?

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
