Surely GWS would be desperate to get Pick 3 because of Tom Green.

I know he just extended but Pick 3 for Taranto? Grew up a Melbourne supporter. Is that just a pipe dream?

Seriously their B&F and best in the GF. Time to think realistically.

Looking like the Langdon deal might be more complicated than the Kelly one, which has already been completed.

Really surprised we didn't have a look at Howard from the Power

surely an upgrade on Oscar down back?

Bonar is a strong bodied inside mid who has had 2 knee redo's. We have enough inside mids and dodgy knees for mine.

A witches hat would be an upgrade on OMAC. Harder to get around.

Don't people get sick of bagging Oscar?  It's such a bore. Last time I looked he played for us and hence we should support him.

Only so much you can do when you're the 17th placed team who trains in a dog park, shares the showers with a few other teams and hasn't won a flag for 55 years I guess...

All we can do I guess is aim for minimum 6 upgrades on last years list.

So far

Cons  Frost

Why the f@#$ did we pick up tomlinson who is slow yet get rid of frost who is our quickest player. bloody stupid.

We've bloody lost the plot. we're the slowest team in the comp before this idiotic move. Not looking forward to seeing tomlinson hobble down the wing whilst he is trying to catch jaiden Stephenson or something. ffs

When did we get rid of Frost?

Still plenty to play out there, Doc.

These trade periods just drag on. Nothing really happens until the last couple of days. If not for the AFL wanting the publicity, we could do it in 3 days.

Or even just an original joke about him.

It's all predictable, repetitive and boring.

Well i must say i am totally underwhelmed by Melbourne's recruiting so far. The saints, Carlton, Eagles, and cats are all doing great while we tend our knitting in the corner. So many free agents and what we could only come up with two we were interested in, Elliott and Tomlinson. Did we really have such a good year and have such a talented list that we did not think it worth our time trading $'s instead of draft picks to pick up some much needed talent. Quite frankly this does not make me feel as if we are making much progress.

Yes, but not for the 900k a year he has asked for.

How about $800k and Bell pitches in $150k each year on a three year deal?

I would do 700-750k per year for him

Some are saying we wont fit under our cap but if we did $650k and the Dockers cover say $150k and get pick 3...i reckon they'd be more than happy with that.

We have Lewis, Stretch, Frosty, Bull Smith and JKH off the list already.

Imagine Hill on one wing and Langdon on the other.

Need pace. Hill is pace. Get Hill

well pick 6 and a second rounder is rejected. so we'd need two top picks to get the job done. Freo are impossible under Bell.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
