Weid has copped a lot. I don't know why, that was a great point! Only 36 to go...

The umpires must have a line bet on and just checked the score

Haha i noticed it as well.

Sadly we just turned it over. Not even umpire help can save us

I love how they keep gushing about the Stack bump.  That's right, tried to run through a bloke running back with the flight.  So courageous.  Did so much damage that Jack's already back on the ground.

Game over. Season over. At least it was a better defensive effort tonight really does feel like we have gone back to year 2 of Roos' coaching tenure having to sacrifice all offensive to not leak goals. Really dissapointed in how this season has gone but there is just no coming back from here.

Let's give some fridge players bigger roles, ie stretch, t smith, baker, keilty, petty and see what they can offer. Start planning for 2020.

Steven may had better be in the best [censored] shape of his life come pre season

Backline did ok, defensive effort of the mids was pitiful.

We have gone back 5 years in the space of 6 months.

Player's have gone backwards and so have the coaches.

Heads have to roll, players' need a rocket (but not from the coaching department, as they seem to have no clue), coaching group needs fresh blood and new ideas, Goodwin needs to be held accountable, and the board needs a massive wrap over their knuckles for re-signing Goodwin way too early in the season.

Simply unacceptable.

That South Australian umpire should go home and stay there.

Where do we get our own Stack?

I wish our boys would play like their jobs depended on it. If I was this garbage at my job, there is no way I'd keep my job.

Goody can talk about connection all he wants, but we don't even have the basic skills in check.

No dangerous tackle on Hibberd from Martin. Thanks umps. Then a nice elbow in the head to top it off and still nothin.

Umps have been hopeless but that’s not why we lost.

"we will see a better performance" Goodwin said.

5 goals for the game, smashed physically, and 2/3 the tackles even after chasing tail all night.

We are Melbourne.

Pls move Misson on.  Too many fellas that should be able to burst free from congestion or opponent just have nothing at all and so easily caught.  This early in the season we should have come bursting out of the blocks running on top of the ground yet apart from Frosty we've shown nothing in this area!

I err on the side of optimism and I think you said you wouldn't panic until we were 5-0, but this is not good mate.

I've seen some Monty Python pics today, but if you can be optimistic after today.... I think there are some Black Knight pics coming your way :)

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
