Look, nothing against Binman but I thought his post was rubbish and a waste of my time.

And you Sue keep recycling wrong opinions.

It's clear you thought his post was a waste of your time since it is apparent you didn't bother to understand it before responding to it.  (I'm generously assuming you read it.)  Sorry, I won't keep recycling my 'wrong' opinions because I'm tired of pointing out your self-contradictions and misreading of other people's posts.  So no more. Exit the Dragon.

Hand Stuck On It might be more apt for you.

i'm guessing the deals essentially hinge on beams trade happening

my guesses are:
- beams and 2018 third round pick to pies for 2018 first rounder (currently pick 18) and future first
- 5 and pick 18 from bears to freo for neale
- 5 and pick 23 to melbourne for hogan
- 5 to crows for 8 and 13
- 8 and future third to gc17 for may and kk
- may and kk for pick 5, future 3rd rounder

net results:
- pies get beams and the filth's 2018 third rounder
- bears get neale and pies' future first
- freo get hogan, pick 18
- crows get pick 5
- gc17 get 8 and mfc's future third
- melbourne get may, kk, pick 13 and pick 23

If they get 5 & 18 for Neale I expect the same for Hogan

Please Binman. Stop living in fantasyland. You think Watson brought Bennell up because of injury issues? Any player can get injured at anytime.

And ‘motivation’? Nothing except he’s a sports commentator and journalist making an assessment of a situation based on information he has at hand.

What, you think his ‘motivation’ is to tear down the Melbourne Football Club? Bit paranoid there mate.

Huh? You need to express yourself  a bit more clearly.

Do you actually mean Watson is suggesting off field behavioral issues? If so then your post did not convey that message. You used the word reason which implies motivation.

Fantasy land? I have no opinion about why Watson raised it. I could care less. If I was to guess it would because he is paid to gossip and create noise.

You might want to consider settling down and stop throwing insults around.

That and learn to convey simple messages. Start slow.

Why are Demonlanders continuing to feed the troll.

Staggers me

See ya Sue.

I think I'm only comfortable with losing Hogan because of who he is likely to be going to. I don't want to lose him but if he wants to go I'd prefer he goes to Freo than he go to a Hawthorn or Essendon or any club likely to be competing with us.

Bennell was always a risk, injury issues and his other issues were pretty public, even one of his family said it would be a mistake for him to return to WA. Nothing comparable to Jesse. Just crap from Watson.

These “off field issues” accusations seem like a crock to me. In his time at the club we’ve seen no public signs of any off field issues affecting his performance or training habits. Outside of injury he’s been a consistent performer.

It seems to be a concerted effort to suggest where there’s smoke there’s fire. Literally. We all remember smoking-gate. People losing their collective minds over Hogan smoking a cigarette at a music festival. After his father had recently passed away.

A Fremantle muppet on Bigfooty suggested there were links on social media to Hogan “twitching his face off”. The link he provided was the daily mail article which showed Hogan at that same music festival merely dancing and having a good time.

It always seems to be mountain out of molehill stuff and it’s no surprise it is currently being driven by media voices in the West, along with flogs like Watson who can’t seem to get past his distaste for Melbourne.

Yet here you are engaged in a debate about it ?

Again with the comprehension issues. I am not debating why Watson said what he said. As stated in your quote I could care less. Wher's the debate?

I was simply calling you out. Anyway it's been fun. I'll pop you on ignore now. Will cut this thread in half, which will be a blessed relief.

As Ethan says, "It’s beginning to look that way. I wish people would quit quoting him."

But Ethan nothing is happening, we are bored enough to entertain biscuit comparisons and idiots. What can we do?

I’m a “troll” because I don’t trundle with lemmings off a cliff or say “baaa” with the herd?

Demonland hasn’t changed much. A few very good and sane posters but still too many fanboys (and girls) who get hurt derrières when confronted with sober assessments and clear eyed analysis.

Be careful you are not shooting the messenger P-man

Well at least this thread achieved SOMETHING.

Bloody hell when are we going to see some movement. All this talk, and the only players are Preuss and Kent?

Geez, now even Whoopi Goldberg is being brought into it.

Where does she fit into the trade moves?

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
