Perth based Dees fan and could not be more excited!! If anyone has a barcode they won’t be using for the game PLEASE let me know! Would hate to miss the biggest game in years!

If I can’t find cheaper flights today I would be happy to give you two barcodes to use. The more Dees fans there the better.

That would be INCREDIBLE! I’m searching for two to go with my best mate and his old man who are life long Dees fans too! DM me if you can’t find flights! Thanks so much mate!

It feels properly weird to be thinking about getting flights and trying to secure tickets to games in September.

We’ll be there, as criminally expensive as it is. Have been swept up in this wave, 54 years in the making, and am powerless in getting off it now.

No worries. I’ll PM you tomorrow if I can’t somehow find a decent package deal. I’m still trying.

I'm going. Fly up Friday night Fly back Saturday night. Just need a ticket. Going by myself so keen to meet with anyone over there.

Should have a couple of spare barcodes for this one too. If anyone is in need. Just a bit wary of giving them out with possible GF ballot.

I was there in R22 and will be there again... Flying over Wednesday and coming back Monday. ??

Would love to see the Demons allocation sell out. Those that can’t go can gift it to a Dockers fan on the proviso they make some noise for us, much better than unsold tickets going into general allocation and then Eagles fans

Dad and I just booked flights but are one membership shy. If anyone has a barcode that they won't be using and wants to help a brother out, that would be greatly appreciated!

Jaded, not wanting to be a downer on your generosity, but be mindful that your bar code could be used by others for a possible GF ballot ticket

people offering bar codes should preferably (for security reasons) be people (who for whatever reason) don't intend to try and buy a gf ticket

Agree but you hope fellow Demon landers honor that code. Unfortunately due to flight costs from Adelaide I cant go to this one either.

If anyone is willing to wire me cash, I'll buy the tickets.  Have 2 spares. Youll have to sit with me though unfortunately.

Well in my case there's no chance I can make it to the Grand Final. Based in Perth it'll cost me like $5k or so to get across for it. As much as I'd love to, I just couldn't!

And as you said, you'd hope no-one here is trying to scam people out of Grand Final tickets!

I live in Perth so will be there. Had to watch the game last night from my lounge room but was at the game last week.

We beat West Coast and I’ll be booking my trip over to the GF. What a ride we are on...pretty emotional about it all.

I feel so proud of our boys

Feels weirder being the third week.

And if anyone is wondering if the airlines are taking the urine with Melbourne -> Perth prices, up here you can get Cairns -> Perth on Friday for $255 and return $479. Last time I looked Cairns is further away from Perth than Melbourne

Probably cheaper to fly Melb-Cairns to Perth!

Check out flights via Bali perhaps

I'm not sure if this helps anyone, but last night I sat with supporters from all around Australia who had booked through AFL travel. They all said that they had priced the trip, with flights, accom & tickets individually but that the AFL Travel site was only a touch more and they were guaranteed a category one ticket.

I can't speak for the site myself, but thought this info may be worth a look at if you are planning on heading over. I'm sure the flights are astronomical just bc of demand, but may be worth a look nonetheless.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
