I can confirm this in our area Dee Zephyr. Just came back from watching a film and there was around 20+ ppl with their camping gear lined up outside Ticketek. We almost missed out on tickets last week so moving forward, I think (work permitting) that I would probably line up too & use my phone on the day to see if I could get seats whilst in the line. Last week I got a red robot on my phone, I never want to see that robot again! LOL!

I'm not sure if this helps anyone, but last night I sat with supporters from all around Australia who had booked through AFL travel. They all said that they had priced the trip, with flights, accom & tickets individually but that the AFL Travel site was only a touch more and they were guaranteed a category one ticket. I can't speak for the site myself, but thought this info may be worth a look at if you are planning on heading over. I'm sure the flights are astronomical just bc of demand, but may be worth a look nonetheless.

Wooooo Hooooooo I got tickets!!!! A huge thanks to Lucifer's Hero who gave me advice on how best to wrangle Ticketek! For future reference for anyone who finds themselves without tickets, I went and spoke with the people at Ticketek who told me that the 'corporate seats' that don't get picked up start getting sold back to the public from the Thursday/Friday and that they go quickly. Talk about right place/right time. Go Dee's! ?❤️

That's a fair call Rogue. Just a passionate Dee's supporter (with fairly poor eye sight), as I am sure you are too. Disappointed but you never know I might take up one of those high seats bc the atmosphere was bloody fantastic last week and I wouldn't want to miss out on it. Hope you got your tickets and enjoy the game.

Thanks for that information Lucifer's Hero, you have been so helpful-I really appreciate it. From what I can see there are also some tickets available in M31 and M32. Which is just below you. I'll have a scan through the last few pages and see if anyone has seats there. I think what happened was as soon as those MCC reserved seats sold out, everyone (me included) tried to use their MFC barcodes to get seating and you couldn't get seats together. I couldn't even get 2 seats together for my daughter and myself. I had followed everyone getting their seats on here this morning and had been so pleased for them. Can't believe I find myself in this situation.

W2H, thank you so much for your advice. Our cheer squad is at the Punt Rd end?? I can get category 2 tickets but they're down in section M33 but I'm certain that's were the Hawthorn Cheer Squad will be. As I will be with my Mum, daughter and myself, I don't feel confident sitting deep in enemy territory. At this point, I am just praying something miraculously becomes available on Ticketek as per Lucifer's Hero's suggestion.

I really appreciate the advice to keep checking back-it gives me a little ray of hope. Last week I was openly crying in the stands when we won...I guess this week it will be happening from home❤️?

Absolutely shattered. Missed out on MCC tix and I joined queue at 11:40 as one DL member recommended doing. Tried to then get 3 tix using MFC membership but couldn't get them as I kept getting the message that that amount was not available. I even tried general admission when it opened-nope. I guess I'll be watching on from home
