Yep its my guess too....i was just wondering is it set in concrete anywhere? Im booking flights etc.

Our game will definitely be the following Friday should we win. Collingwood has to play in Perth Saturday night, if they lose they're not going to back up the following Friday when they could be scheduled on the Saturday.

Hi all. This is me and my son. We filmed his reaction as we thought he'd be pretty happy with the tickets and we'd share it with my Dad and sisters who are also keen Dees fans. We did not expect the level of emotion he ended up showing and my sister shared it with the club who of course posted it.

Can I just say the club have been absolutely amazing through this and as a result we're flying down from Brisbane a couple of days earlier and Sam will be spending Thursday with the team and meeting all the players and coaches. It's really demonstrated to us why we love this club and why we support it.

I've also been told that Goody has showed the video to the playing group to demonstrate what finals means to all the members, supporters and fans.

As we all know, its been a hard slog supporting this club for so long but I am convinced there's a very bright future ahead, both on and off the field. Can't wait for Friday night then. Go Dees!

This was one of the best videos I’ve seen for a long long time. To see a young man with that kind of emotion about the Dees, it’s really touched a lot of us. Thanks so much for sharing it!

"Tickets hare officially sold out for Melbourne V Geelong" - Gerard Healy, 3AW, 4 September 2019.

I log into ticketek this morning and there are still seats available in the public.

Is it too much for these so called professionals to do a little research and not misguide the public?

in his defence... I did have a look and when you go into the details of what is available GA it says "single seats only." Dod you find more?

Mind you AFL members is still showing reasonable availability with an option to purchase two guest passes for level 4 and GA on the night.

You would think it would be easy to come out with a simple statement from the AFL updated say twice daily.

To Demonland

Thanks to all those who enquired.

I have been able to sell the spare ticket I had to the game next week. I appreciated the responses.

And to @faultydet, I wasn't overly "concerned about an $82 ticket" in financial terms, I just wanted, given all the Ticketek stuff ups this week, to make sure the ticket didn't go to waste and a Melbourne fan was deprived of the chance to get a good seat to see the Team. That was my main concern.

best wishes
bill

It was a nod to your committment to the team mate, not a stab.

Enjoy the game.

Plenty of GA available on top half of level 4 Ponsford stand. Even some M2 tickets available near our cheer squad.

I’m tearing up like your boy reading this! It’s great he’ll get a truly memorable up close and personal experience, well deserved as an interstate supporter. Hope you both have a ball.

Does anyone know if we can still get two tickets per membership for the 2nd semi and the price range.

Yes, I've got mine already, not physically but on order and picking them up on Wednesday from the Demon Shop.

Should not be overly difficult getting tickets for next week... but a Collingwood v Melbourne preliminary (if it happens) may be a harder task.

Should we end up against WCE in a prelim in Perth I have no idea.

As an aside have Collingwood done anything special (viewing wise) for their Melbourne fans tonight

I got mine from the club, the same as I did for the first final, they come from the club's allocation and I pick them up from the Demon Shop. They are available to Foundation Heroes only, I believe

I have a possibly silly question. Given that we buy tickets by following a link the club gives us and entering our membership number, are we supposed to be allocated seats in a Melbourne area? I wound up sitting in a Geelong bay and I don't see how that works. It's not like I had the option of picking seats. I just selected the area behind the punt road goal and that's what the system gave me. If there are not bays designated for each side, then how did all of the Geelong  fans wind up in the same spot? I'm confused.

Was wondering the same thing. Ended up in small Geelong area. Not that it matted by end of game, they all left early.
