Gee, 'suspect when pressured' is really tough on Salem.  He had 22 possessions @ 95.5%.  5 marks.  6 R50's. 4 Tackles.  He ran and he bounced and he kicked true.

Am genuinely curious as to what you saw to think he was suspect.

We must have lost by 20 goals!!

They were all hopeless according to Joeboy!

Not sure if you noticed JJC but we lost and again to a half decent side.

Do you see the pattern here.

I thought we hardly had a good player on the ground, really disappointing performance a missed opportunity.

Well said Old Dee. JJC and others must take into account they had 20 players from mid way through first quarter and we still found a way to lose. It's just happening all the time and even if we made it to finals will be out in first set. No leaders, no one to drag the team up and follow him. Blokes like Petracca get their ambitions mixed up with their capabilities and most of the rest choke big time when pressure is on.

Its quite amazing how poor jones has become so quickly

Loyal servant and great player for us but used by date fast approaching

Garlett - You won’t see me

Petracca - Come Together

Oliver - Carry that weight

Spargo - I’m so tired

Tyson - Twist and Shout

Brayshaw - I saw her standing there

Fritsch - Day Tripper

Gawn - Ticket to ride

Harmes - Across the universe

Hunt - Get back

Kennedy - One after 909

Lewis - Glass Onion

Neal - Bullen - Norwegian Wood (This bird has flown)

We should learn from past mistakes IMO Petracca is like a few we have had shows  brilliance against poorer sides but not up to it against good sides. Use him as a trade to get a good player who gives every week. Before we have another Watts situation.

A half decent side would be a team like Essendon not Sydney.

Harmes - becoming very important

We have beaten no one of any consequence .

Does that not tell you there is a serious problem with the average level of talent ?

I'm saying Sydney are more than a "half decent side". I think we're somewhere around the average level pushing above.

My Dad used to say every cloud has a silver lining.

Just remember RM you won't have to worry about getting finals tickets.

This is the best ever ?

I reckon Frosty did better than just break even. He can hold his head high.

He didn’t kick half of the 18 behinds today.

  • CASEY: Coburg

The Casey Demons returned to their home ground which was once a graveyard for opposing teams but they managed to gift the four points on offer to Coburg with yet another of their trademark displays of inaccuracy in front of goals and some undisciplined football that earned the displeasure of the umpires late in the game. The home team was welcomed by a small crowd at Casey Fields and looked right at home as it dominated the first three quarters and led for all bar the last five minutes of the game. In the end, they came away with nothing, despite winning everywhere but on the scoreboard and the free kick count.

The Demons were wasteful early before putting the foot down early in the 2nd quarter but they chased tail for the remainder of the match. They could not get their first use of the footy after half time and when they did poor skills, execution and decision making let them down.
