Yep. This is where we see where the improvement has got too...

With more than a nod to the great Chuck Berry

Somebody help me get out of August.

Just help me get to final’s town.

And I woke up high over AFL headquarters.

On a jet to the promised land.

Swing low chariot come down easy.

Cut your engines and cool your wings.

And let me make it to the telephone.

Tell the folks back home this is the promised land callin’.

And say the poor ‘d’ boy is on the line.

Waiting for the dees to come home...

Jekyll and Hyde, rather fitting for Melbourne.

A good test of the learnings from the Collingwood game from last round 2017.

Are we all talk?

If we lose by 20? Yes.

Not sure that the club is 'all talk' - they speak about the aspirations... rather than the entitlement.

Excited about this one however stuck in hospital awaiting  MRI results to see if back surgery is required. Might be out for this game if I am I'll be having demon dreams of tommy mac and jessie combing for 14 goals and us winning by 67 points

Pretty wet, hope it drys up. We all know how well we have gone in the wet this year....and I also don’t want to be out in it ?

Shame the Crows, Lions and Port didn’t get up yesterday (especially as they were all in it at one stage)! It would have been nice to see the Giants, Pies and Eagles all go down! ?

@DaisyDeeciple  - is there somewhere I can watch in the morning in your adopted city? Which I won't name, lest I derail this thread with my humble-brag.

Tbh I am packin my dacks about this game.

I really really want to win and in the process shut up all who crap on about us no beating anyone significant and failing on the big stage.

The time has come Melbourne.

Idle hands are the devils toys..

Just got up with the small people, playing Lego to pass the time (is it weird that I enjoy the Lego more than them?), can’t stop thinking about the game, going slightly ???

No. This is completely normal. My kids are still on Duplo - can’t wait till they’re big and dexterous enough for real lego!

Hehe, I found a box of LEGO that I kept from the 80s and unleashed that on the pests... I mean children the other day. Then I jumped on eBay and bought up a few vintage sets that I always wanted as a kid and never had! Did I take it too far good doctor Dee?!

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.
