Wayne Carey

On talking footy Wayne Carey came up with a solution for Carlton No1 pick.

Trade it for Frost, Tyson and Bugg (all ex GWS we all know SOS loves GWS)

Is he out of his mind? or are in with a shot of getting Walsh?

Imagine Gaff and Walsh on  our wings. (It's got my tent up)

Thoughts?

Zero chance. That'd be lucky to net us an end of first rounder. It's quality, not quantity.

If they trade it to anyone it'll be Adelaide, who may have 5 first rounder by then end of the year

Carey was wanting quantity ahead of quality. The draft hasn't worked for Carlton.

Carey was either joking or he's injected his Botox straight into the brain.

For that deal I'd even throw in Pedo

Throw in McKenna SOS would love that.

Dont be suprised mate, they aren't asking for one but the powers that be behind the scenes are lobbying hard for it.

The same pricks that gave Carlton 6 Friday Night Game are the same pricks that will allow it, so dont be suprised at all, part of their masterplan.

carey (and some other idiot commentators) just say [censored] to get attention.. not thought through at all. no 1 pick for sloane and mckay and another pick from the crows probably would still be pushing it, let alone, vfl players from us.

It’s as if Carey was almost pulling the [censored] out of Carlton....

Would you? It stands as a terrible deal for both teams. The team that finished last brings in three start-up top 22 players that won't make them much better, and lose a top 1 pick.

Melbourne lose experience and depth for an unproven kid.

Wayne also rates Grundy ahead of Gawn, and said to Lingy ,who is on the all Australian committee, that Grundy should be a certainty for all Australian Ruckman.

Absolute lol. How could Carey propose this and keep a straight face? Aaaaah. The botox.

If Carlton did this, SOS is even more of a joke than I thought.

I might just tease my Carlton mate anyway and say I have strong mail that it's going to happen. #trollacarltonmate

Wayne Carey has compete lost it. So what Carlton have stuffed up there early picks previously. We stuffed up our picks quiet a few years ago but we got it right this time. Drafting Petracca, Brayshaw, Oliver etc. They just need to get it right this time this would be a huge mistake if Calton follow Wayne Carey's suggestion

2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. He carried injury right through the back half of the season and was controversially involved in a potential move during the trade period that was ultimately shut down by the club. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury.
