No offence taken, but no offence, Liverpool give as much hope as Palace ?

Haha f k off, I was in Rome (totes jaded travel plug) when Gerard slipped at Chelsea a few years ago.. that was hope.

Commentators:

”Mundy has been in everything , had 12 disposals and kicked a goal”.

Commentators (2 mins later):

”Jones has been a bit quite, just the 13 disposals and a goal

Confidence down everywhere.  That first touch that a-graders have we seem to only have a few, Oliver, Fritsch...not positive we’re gonna win tonight...they say how great the conditions are but we are the fumblers.  TMac our best msrk is obviously not 100%..

Everyone on here knows what happens when you don't take your opportunities.

First thing Pert must do is get us out of this horrible game. If you have any chance of having a good year this game destroys it .

I asked this question on another topic and was told that even if we get out of this game we DO NOT get another home game at the "G" as we are only contracted for 9 games there. OUR HOME GROUND and Carscum get home games there forcing us to play a home game at that ground on the other side of the city. Can anyone confirm how many home games we are contracted for at the "G".

Hahha f k you!!

As I said I was in Rome, honeymoon, staying at a flash joint 400ms from the coliseum... there was a terrible, chitty Irish pub (like seriously) 50ms from the hotel. Said to the goodly wife throughout the trip “if Liverpool are a chance I’ll be watching this win in Rome..” she was not happy o went to watch it...

here I am walking the 50ms thinking it the pub will be packed and what a glorious story I can tell my mates and then my kids... I was literally the only person in the bar until my grumpy wife turned up at around half time... what a day!! :)

Is it a wet ball with humidity?

5.16 [censored]

BBO just said a few pages ago no wet balls on the dry grass outside the field of play.

That would have been a goal to Hill in any other week. Frost's closing speed saves us there, so he's a good inclusion IMO.

we need a few goals

if freo go into the last quarter less than 4 goals down they will come hard

either way we have royally stuffed ourselves for next week

We have the dumbest players in the league.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
