Wiseblood 24,637 Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 Goal kicking aside, that was a relatively positive first term. I think what stood out was the pressure. Apart from their first goal we worked much better as a defensive unit and stifled any run that players like the Hill brothers, Walters, Matera etc could give them. Hogan had a ripper first term, Trac worked hard and Stretch has really given us something on a wing. No doubt our goal kicking needs to see some major improvement for the rest of the evening, but other than that it's been pretty good so far. 1

Our defending has been heaps better - they can’t get it out of half back. This game should already be over though, but of course we lead by the 9 behinds we kicked. If there’s a five minute lapse, Freo kick away. Come on Melbourne. Bury them so I can bloody relax a bit please. 1
