Round 13 Non - MFC Games

The round starts early this week with Port vs Bulldogs tonight at Adelaide Oval.

Some important games this weekend:

- Top 4 play each other - Big 8 point games.  Potential Home Final at stake:

• 3rd vs 1st:  Swans vs Eagles
• 4th vs 2nd:  Geelong vs Tigers.

- Top 8 aspirants:

• 11th vs 10th:  Hawks vs Crows

The other two games are Freo vs Carlton and GCS vs Saints.  Freo to take care of Carlton who seem happy to get the wooden spoon again (and the draft spoils that go with it).  And GCS and Saints will be some sort of scraggy arm wrestle.

Gold Coast vs. St. Kilda could be one of the worst spectacles ever put on in an AFL game.

Hoping for a miracle and the Doggies causing an upset but I can't see it happening.

I find my level of interest in football overall diminishes when we have a bye. And I have zero interest in games on a Thursday (other than a Thursday night before a public holiday on a Friday). Is it just me?

What is the Bradbury plan here

I think I would prefer WCE to do over the Eagles to give us a chance at top 4. Eagles pretty much unassailable for top 2 anyway.

Cats/Tigers I am in two minds. Erring for Tigers. They're a game ahead anyway?

Crows/Hawks, want to lose whomever has the easiest run home and I think it's the Hawks?

I like the idea of Thursday night games more than I actually like watching them.

Yep. I'd watch footy on any night of the week. Thursday's are almost like a surprise because I'm not expecting it. And every couple of hours I think 'Hey, there's footy on tonight!'

The Dogs are a joke at the moment.  Port could theoretically be 8 goals up already if Marshall hasn't missed a few easy ones.  How the hell they won a flag in 2016 is beyond me.

Loving the look of the Doggies.  Really giving Port  a big test before we play them next week.  And I was worried they'd run the Power into red hot form.... so silly!

So who do we put on Wines next week? 

The games this weekend on free to air arent to bad. Tonights is ok, tomorrow night Sydney v WC will be a cracker and Saturday night Hawthorn Adelaide will be interesting and its a shame we don't get Geelong Richmond on sunday arvo.

Well....Doggies applied better pressure in their forward half that quarter and caused some turnovers from Port defenders. Port did get a couple of cheap goals against the grain though.
