Right now we look like a vfl side. I know there is only 2 goals in it, but we dont look like scoring. 

Dominating the hitouts but being smashed in clearances.

28 plays 11 now. 

All Richmond and it looks for all the world like our early effort has been exhausted.

I fear a blowout unless someone figures out how to score.

We are a shadow of the team we were last year, which is saying something. Goodwin is taking us backwards.

Our defense is worse, our so-called attacking game plan doesn't give us goals and our mids can't stop other teams from spreading.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
