Interesting.

Could not see Lewis missing out on the starting 18 come rd 1

He has a fair point with Salem, although he showed glimpses of fantastic talent in his last couple of games. I think Salem can be starting 18 if over his illness, as he finds a lot of the ball when fit/in form.

ANB played his way to a first 18 spot also, in my eyes.

But with the 4 interchange spots not named, we would be arguing over guesses, as any of our preferences could be on the bench.

Any chance we can save the top 4 talk until we make the finals for the first time in 12 F/ing years?

If ANB is not in the starting 18 then I should stop following the Dees.

Weideman is not a starting 18. He is 2 years away.

I expect this preseason will expose a few boys to become men.

I haven't seen any training sessions yet, so I will leave any comment until such time I have.

Thanks Mick Malthouse !!!!!!  Though I do agree.

Why would you do a top 18? There are 22 players in a team with a lot of rotations within a game.

I disagree with a few of his selections too.

lost me when he said tyson was a hard nut. not knocking tyson but no hard nuy

Tyson is top 18 but I think he should be dropped for round 1 as a message that his last game against collingwood wasnt good enough (5 or so turnovers it seemed like in opening quarter)

Replacing injured B graders with C graders isn't having depth.

This is a forum about the Demons. Someone in the media is talking about the Dees on the radio. No  matter what one might think about the person talking we're going to present it here for discussion because this is a forum where we discuss all things about the Dees.

Here's a thought. If you don't like the topic don't open the thread.

No Jake Melksham,  Weideman at CHF.

Terry Wallace is clueless.

Yes i wondered about his sanity when i heard that.

Melksham was a shining light in 2017. Weiderman will be, but he aint ready yet

Melk was brilliant in his new forward role.  Was a masterstroke from the coaching staff. He even has the 6th longest steak in the AFL for consecutive games kicking a goal (12 games).

I'm going to take your word for it but this stat sounds rather iffy.

A few quibbles as to selections, but if you can move past this, and any prejudice against the 'List Manager', the general thrust of what Wallace says here is fairly close to the mark.

Often kicks 'em when we really need 'em too.

Just listened to the segment. I thought Wallace was absolutely spot on, but for some slightly curious inclusions and omissions in the best 22.

Interesting that he said 'Jack Watts? I personally would've kept him, but it won't hurt the club long term'. Despite the 1 billion posts on that topic here, I think that pretty well sums up that trade perfectly.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
