Will Stevie J be in the GWS team by finals time?

Either

- dropped, or;

- suspended by another brain fade

The conditions really suit the Dogs and shows that GWS are very much a fair weather side.

They can't use their skills and run atm.

Can you imagine when conigilo, Whitfield, lids and griffen come back?

Ridiculous list

Dogs are dominating but not making the most of their opportunities. Momentum will change and the inaccurate 6-13 will cost them. Similar to watching us play the last 3 weeks actually.

Difference is Dogs can probably bring this intensity for 4 quarters, not 2.5-3 and then fall away.

Dogs are channelling the dees

doninating the game but not finishing

Bruce is just an old pumping sex machine...

Dogs currently doing what we can't do on Sunday - bomb it long to about 20 metres out.  They got lucky then with Bont kicking the goal, but the Giants are picking them off too easily.  We need to use it better.

On the other hand, at half time the Dogs are doing what we must do on Sunday .................. (most likely) get beaten in the ruck but clearly win the stoppages / contested ball,

The 3rd quarter is exhausting to watch...it's just relentless attacking footy by both sides. Brilliant stuff to watch!

Relentless pressure and relentless running will win us if we keep it up for 4/4

Bruce loves a rhetorical question, doesn't he?

What if Bruce never asked a rhetorical question????

We are not far off these sides now.

Tweaking still to be done. But this is the style Goodwin is looking for

Green needs three weeks for that - will be offered one down to a fine.

PS if Dogs' Dr Zimmerman was like the Blues' one it would be two months.

Should be the same penalty Lewis got at least.

Three down to two, not sure if he has carry over points. Was a cheap shot by the little grub.

In Greene's defence, imagine waking up and looking at that mug in the mirror every morning, it'd be hard to keep a grip on life.

Probably not a wise thing to do the week your coach comes out and tells you to keep it clean and play within the rules.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
