Is that what it's come to? The sole source of football enjoyment being watching other (hated) teams losing?

At times, yes, absolutely!

Not watching but the score worm tells me another quality hit out by these two heavyweights of the competition?

I'm at Etihad - it's a terrible game.

Acres reminds me very much of Harmes. A hard runner who can get on the end of a couple, but doesn't have the greatest skills.

We want St Kilda to win today, don't we? They've got Geelong next week, who you'd hope would account for them.

Bad kicking for goal seems to be contageous

I wonder if it's a work rate thing. We're not the only ones who can't find the sticks consistently at the moment.

With the increased kilometres in the legs, are players struggling to convert for this reason?

At this early stage in the season you'd have to say yes

treloar's kicking is as bad as tyson's.

And both are goal kicking, ball accumulating mids. Both have some questions over their defensive game too. I wonder if that's a GWS learnt thing? :P

For teams who have Docklands as their home ground one would think that they should have good accuracy on goal from say 40 metres out anywhere between the 45 metre arcs but it does not seem so.

No wind or other variables... just the walk up and the players personal aiming spot to counteract normal skew etc.

Perhaps it is the lack of training on the ground or whatever but its an area ripe for the sports scientists.

If we don't spank Collingwood, I'll be livid. They are really ordinary and their forwardline is very, very impotent.

Now I'll just hope some tigers players do stupid acts and get suspended.

We will go in as Rank Outsiders

Good.

Richmond are smashing the Lions.

I was confident of beating them until yesterday, them being 5-0 will make me puke.

Let them get big heads. The bandwagons gotta come off the rails soon enough...

Having watched all of Richmond's games (watched the West Coast replay), I reckon they are one of the worst 4-0 teams of all time. They make stupid errors and lack the midfield depth. They haven't played a decent team yet. Collingwood, Carlton, West Coast (at the 'G, who should have put them away) and now Brisbane - they haven't beaten anyone of note. And those first two wins were really scratchy.

If we bring forward half pressure and minimise our turnovers as we did in the first two weeks, we should murder them.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
