What was happening here, at that specific time?

Trump to bomb Pyongyang?

MRP to resign?

I've got a feeling it's Jack Watts related

I'm disappointed it was Hogan caught smoking and not Watts. I love Jack Watts threads.

I am surprised no ones caught jack in the background at the wa gig

He'd have torn it up

3196 of the current membership base of Demonland were on here...that's [censored] immense - 3 days after a Sydney game, 4 days before a Hawthorn game...so you can see why I'd be curious.

Robbie Flower?

ed: nah wasn't that, but I remember that event did thrash the existing record and I remember being amazed the site didn't fall over, as it regularly did at that point in time.

This one could just be an error in the counting algorithm.

I believe Robbie was October...

Given the time, I assume Demonlanders were caught up in the events of 11 May 2015. I'm sure everyone remembers that it was the 1,685th anniversary of Constantinople becoming the capital of the Roman Empire in 330 AD.

Or was it the anniversary some years later of the fall of Constantinople in May 1453?

I hate to be the one to tell you this...but the fall of Constantinople didn't occur until 29 May 1453. Clearly that's not why Demonland was so busy early in the morning of 12 May.

Are you the Riddler?

If so, I'm still [censored] off at the draft riddle that didn't have an answer.

BBO gave himself a jolly good flogging?

Are you sure that's not a Yankee time format? So December the 5th,2015? Around the time our future record-breaking midfielder Clayton Oliver first dons the red & blue in anger.

Must have been a little news tidbit. Maybe Hogan contract news or something.

Sorry La Dee I was referencing the Byzantine calendar which is somewhat off set from the western calendar so I believe the fall was the 12th of May of the year 6961 Annus Mundi and I believe Demonlanders were all over this on the day! Says a lot about Deelanders I think.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
