Dogs will win by 40+

have to admit im impressed by the crows. Constantly lose good players but still perform.

Surely we wont see any calls from Demonlanders for a percentage booster next week.  Freo looking very good.

Indeed?

I am worried about Freo.  They look pretty good today.  We'll have them at the 'G I guess, so that should be a help.

Dogs ran around with an air of arrogance tonight.  No way they should have lost this game.

Freo have a good midfield with Fyfe, Neale, Mundy and the Hill brothers.  Should be a good battle in there, but if we break even then we win as they have little else in terms of quality around the ground.

Dockers beat Dogs by 16 points.  Dubdee start eating humble pie. Apology accepted.

Well Fyfe definitely has to be stopped next week. But look Freo kicked straight. 13-11. Anyway happy we are on our home ground next week. By the way we have dropped down to 8th

Will be interesting to see what the MRP make of Ryder's little chase down strike to the head after the multiple weeks our boys got.

That happened to my tipping account this week too

Who is Ross Lyon trying to kid:  http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-04-09/premiership-coachs-advice-guides-lyons-focus  when talking about the Freo turnaround:  "Someone I respect in the game I spoke to, he said everyone wants to talk about this and talk about that, sometimes it's just working around the ball and the contest a bit fiercer.

He wouldn't name who that person was but then he said: "He was a two-time Grand Final coach and premiership coach, so I thought 'that's a pretty good point'.

It can only be Paul Roos!  Not very well camouflaged, Ross!

Someone may be able to remind me who it was, but I'm sure I heard a commentator mention during the week that Essendon is now everybody's second favourite side. Nothing could be further from the truth I suspect. I, for one, despise them. Drug cheats who were effectively rewarded with the number one pick in the land. Pure and simple.

Quite a number of these drug cheats will run on to the field today (please don't tell me that gobbledygook that none had an inkling as to why they had to continually head off site).

I hope they lose today.

Surprised no one mentioned Richmond. They looked pretty impressive with obviously Martin plus their zippy forwards. Mentioned couple of weeks ago that they could surprise this year if they keep going the way they are.

Huge game in 2 weeks.

A nice game in the wet and cold today at the MCG.

Perfect weather for an upset. Go Blues !!

On a more serious note ... we need the teams outside the notional 8 to beat each other. If the bottom four are all on zero and there are 14 teams vying for the 8 .. the harder it is for us

Yup, go blues.

I will cheer for any team that is playing the drug cheats, and I would love to see 10 Essendope players do their ACL today.

They're still a mess, give it time.

If anyone is looking for some footy karma for Carlton just look at the radar image and imagine what it might be like at the MCG at around 2 to 4 pm this afternoon and the impact that will have on their home ground attendance.  It will cost them heaps.

Sometimes it's possible to get pleasure out of small things.

Freo looked good. Its amazing the difference with Fyfe and Sandilands back. Facing Sandilands without Maxi is not gonna be fun.

They had Fyfe and Sandilands the first two games, too.

They injected a bunch of youth and dropped a stack of underperforming veterans who are no longer good enough. They got a huge morale and confidence boost from that. Whether or not that carries into a second game, away from home, will be determined on Saturday.

Spencer will make him earn everything.

I hope so. We gonna find out how good weve had it with Max.

Paddy McCartin - three kicks to half time. Fair to say we're winning that one.
