Advertising ruins everything.

I was more interested in the fashions than the count and there was little time for either.

I love an elegant frock.

This article puts a strong case as to why Maxy should have more  votes.  Could easily have had 4 to 6 more!

Love the banter between Max and Jack V - Max says he makes the midfielders look good;  Jack says they have to mop his misguided taps!

Max had a great year. His first that was basically unhindered by injury or battling for he number one ruck spot following Russians departure.

I'm all for Max blowing his trumpet - he's completely entitled to.

But don't do it to the point where your fans consider you're a [censored].

I don't want it to come to that.

A quick google reveals that in 77 both of the field umps gave a 3 2 1 hence you could get 6 votes in a game...

Dems was in them days when it was two umpires and they both gived the votes.

Nowadays the umps are locked in a room after the match and are not allowed out until one prevails in a greco roman wrestling match. That winner then decides on which midfielders will receive the Brownlow votes.

Maybe if he had grown a little taller......

Seriously great effort by Max, 5 more than Goldstein and I doubt a ruckman can win it for being just a ruckman, needs to kick a forward's bag as well.

What amused me was the 'great' Nic Nat scoring just one vote. I know he only played 12 games but 1 vote!  Jack Watts is clearly a real footballer and we chose well.

The biggest disgrace of the night was when they stopped showing highlights of all the games.

Dees won a game after the siren (gold coast) and they didnt even mention it.

And yet it took 15 hours to do 15 rounds

Expand

Point of order.

Demons were actually ahead when the siren went in that match. GC player had a shot after the siren, but missed.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
